My husband installed an outlet below our ceiling specifically for a wifi extender. When we decided to go with the Eero mesh instead of a plug in extender we thought we’d try this unit. Because installing it the standard route would place the extender hub too close to the ceiling, we flipped the platform so it sits at the bottom of the outlet plate. The extender fits just fine in this configuration and we added a bit of velcro for extra security. I love a tidy solution!

They say it’s the little things in life and this is one of those little things that really brings me joy. I’m very organized and I recently got an Echo for $0.99 (can’t pass that up). I already had my JBL Charge speaker, which I love for the sound quality. I was happy to find out my echo can be synced with my JBL speaker, but on to the review for the stand…I set this up in literally a minute, maybe even less. Just grab a flathead screwdriver and remove your current outlet plate. Then assemble the stand (in just one click), place the proper black plate in front of the stand (check the screw alignment-this stand includes 2 plates), and mount the stand to your outlet. Some people mentioned this only works with more recent outlets, but my condo has the older plates with one screw and it worked fine.I bought this to use with my Echo, but I tested my JBL speaker (since it’s heavier) AND the Echo on top and the stand still seemed sturdy. I absolutely LOVE that this stand allowed me to tuck the excess cables in so they’re unseen. I used to have cables everywhere in this spot and now it looks clean and organized.I honestly was looking around my condo today to see if there’s an opportunity to buy another one lol. Great price, great quality, and brownie points for allowing me to be more organized

These shelves are being used for my Alexa Dots. I installed them with the shelf part down, instead of the way it shows. This way I have easier access to the plug outlet which is nearly impossible to use when used in shown position. Alexa’s plugs are a bit cumbersome – so this way, I have clear access to 2nd outlet, without the cord from Alexa getting in the way. Also – if you install my way, the shelf is sturdier since the way it connects, as you can see in the photo, gives it a little bit of a tilt. My way, the shelf is secure and straight.

I own 3 of these outlet shelves from three different Mfr. I had initially ordered a different shelf but it turned out to be too wide at the top so it hit the wall mirror right next to the outlet and didn’t fit. I then looked for something not so wide at the top but wide enough and deep enough to fit my electric toothbrush base. This popped up and I was a little skeptical at first because it was much less than others. After receiving it I was no longer concerned. It has 2 pieces that snap into place and it comes with 2 different metal wall plates, one for a standard outlet with the screw in the middle and one for a GFCI outlet with the screw on top and at the bottom. The first shelf I got was only for a GFCI outlet and used the existing plastic cover on the outlet. After I installed it, which is very easy, I’m very happy with it and highly recommend it.

This outlet shelf is a perfect fit for the Sonos One. I use it in a bathroom setting to keep the Sonos mounted above the countertop. It helps save space and blends in smoothly with a white wall. This shelf requires no special tools to install, it just replaces the existing outlet cover and requires a flathead screwdriver to install. It’s very sturdy, and I had no concerns with it holding the Sonos. It’s a hard molded plastic, which snaps together solidly, and is held against the wall with a metal plate. It doesn’t vibrate at all when the speaker is playing at a reasonable volume. If I turn the speaker all the way up, there might be a slight rattle/vibration, but only at the very highest volume levels. It’s a really low cost way to more professionally mount a Sonos, and it can be taken down and moved easily if needed. I’m very satisfied for the price.

For the last few years I have kept my bedroom dot on my dresser. It never really sounded great because it was always surrounded by stuff. I needed a change. This little shelf is awesome! Now, my dot is always in a perfect spot and sounds great all the time! It is easy to see and doesn’t get covered in clothes, doesn’t get spilled on, or lost all together. This shelf is SUPER sturdy! I was surprised at how thick and well made it is. This isn’t a piece of flimsy plastic. It was easy to assemble (click 1 piece into another) and easily installed simply by switching out the outlet plate. There is a hole in the back where the cord feeds through and it has enough space to charge my phone too!I didn’t know how much I needed this until I had it! Now, I need to get more for the other devices around my house.

Pros: (1) Installed easily and effortlessly with the included parts (2) The most affordable outlet shelf for an Echo/etc (3) Looks very nice (4) Sturdy (see cons)Cons: (1) No cable management whatsoever, I wish I had spent the extra $10 to get one with cable management. (2) While it is sturdy (I have no doubt it will hold up for plenty of time)- the shelf has some serious flex if you plan to use the buttons on top of your device regularly. (3) Some very specific plus may have a hard time fitting, but so far all my chargers and such have fit no problem.I feel like they could have added tiny hooks or something even to wrap cords. I didn’t dock them overall for this though as I new that when I ordered it. I ended up wrapping my cord around the edges (through the hole for the cord to run up in, wrapped around either side evenly). It works but wouldn’t for anything with a larger footprint than the echo dot (the shelf will work- just not wrapping the cord like I did).

I bought this to put my new Echo Show 5 in my kitchen. I didn’t want it sitting directly on the countertop, where I prepare food, but I didn’t want it too high up where it wouldn’t be useful or easy to view, either. I bought this item, thinking it would be too small since it’s designed for smaller devices, but figuring I’d at least give it a try for lack of better options. I’m happy to report it looks and works great! I have the cords bundled and hanging underneath the little shelf, via the pass-through hole, and I think it looks fine, though I could probably buy a shorter cord for a cleaner look or find some better way to conceal the cord if I really wanted to. Don’t hesitate to buy this!

My family is “all-in” on Amazon’s Echo devices. We literally have them in every room of the house, including the bathrooms, where we placed these shelves. Space is at a premium in our bathrooms, and I didn’t want our Echo devices sitting on the bathroom countertop. For that purpose, these work perfectly and seem to be very sturdy. Installation was easy, and the included mounting plates are made of metal and are very strong. As an aside, some of our guests are a little puzzled as to why we would want an Echo device in the bathroom, but it comes in handy. Our teenagers sometimes forget to bring a towel, so they call for one, or play music while in the shower, or whatever.

Bought this on Prime Day. I like listening to music/podcasts in the shower, but we don’t have much room for a speaker/Echo Dot on our counter space in the bathroom. This product solved this issue. It’s very sturdy and easy to install. Highly recommend!
