I have three golden retrievers who are over 70 pounds. They are big dogs who live inside. Since goldens are prone to hip dysplasia, I want them to be comfortable. I decided to try out this bed, and I was not disappointed. The two youngest fight over who can be in bed, they love it. (Not actually fight, just race to see who can lay down first). I will have to say that it does take some time to put it together. It took me about thirty minutes to put together with two other people. It’s very sturdy, and it just wipes off with a washcloth. I love this bed and so do my dogs!

Had this over a week now. It was mildly challenging to put together but a rubber mallet was helpful. Pleased with the quality. My dog has longer nails but the fabric has held up with no concerns with a pad I put on top of it. I got an XL. My dog is a smaller sized lab (hunting dog sized not one of the huge labs.) She loves the new dog bed and sleeps on it every day. She’s getting stiff joints in her old age but can easily get on this bed. The XL was probably a bit bigger than I needed and she’d probably fit just as well on a Large size of this but it’s plenty of room on the XL to spread out. My husky also likes it and fits well on it but my lab guards it so he rarely gets a chance to lay on it. Overall very pleased with this product. I finally found a bed for my older lab that my husky hasn’t tried to rip up to shreds like every cushioned bed I’ve ever bought. He seems to understand this is furniture but he thinks any foam or stuffing filled pet bed is a huge toy for him (he’s even ripped up the super expensive “tough” made dog beds.) Overall very pleased with the price and quality of this dog bed.

I purchased this Veehoo elevated dog bed because I had another dog bed on the floor and the heat from the dogs combined with the cold floor caused condensation on the bottom of the bed which eventually led to mold and mildew. We finally figured out the problem and looked for an elevated dog bed for that corner of the house. This dog bed is easy to assemble with no tools required. The instructions were easy to follow, and it took very little force to fit the pieces together. Once assembled, the bed is slightly flexible but sturdy. The frame is made out of metal and the cot material feels durable. When we put it on the floor, my four cats immediately took to it and made it theirs. When they aren’t on it, my 136-pound Great Pyrenees and 86-pound Labrador mix use it. I was skeptical that the larger dog would be able to use the bed without breaking it, but it held up under his weight and didn’t come apart with any of the animals’ claws. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and didn’t find any flaws with this product. 5/5 stars

The media could not be loaded. Â This is my third pet pad. I have four dogs. This pet bad is the best of the three that I own. The other two sag a lot in the middle of compared to this one. I believe the bar in the middle of this had bad gives it more support then the other two. The instructions in this pet bed were much better than the other two as well and it was easy to put together. I uploaded a video so that I could share a little trick my wife and I found on how to get the end on tighter so it’s more taught. I definitely recommend this bad bad and what purchased this again.

I paid full price for this item on Amazon and this is an unbiased review. We ordered a Large which fits our smaller stature 65 pound West German Shepherd nicely. When deciding to purchase a small travel trailer, we quickly realized that our 65 pound German Shepherd needed her own space where she could hang out. Having prior experience RVing, we know that not everywhere we will end up will be plush rolling meadows of silky lush grass (although we can dream). Sometimes it may be rocks, dirt or asphalt. By her having her spot, she can be comfortable no matter the location. The elevated dog bed was the answer. What made us choose this one? Well, initially it was aesthetics. This was a very nice looking bed in the product photos and the color matched our decor of the trailer. After receiving the product, the quality appears to be superb and should last us a very long time. The only exception being if my dog decides it is a chew toy which she has yet to do. She can destroy ANYTHING she decides deserves it in no time flat.Assembly: This is not the easiest thing to assemble. It doesn’t just “pop” out with spring loaded poles or anything like that. It has to be assembled by placing the poles within the corners of the legs each and every time depending on how far you break it down for travel. I completely disassemble the bed each time and roll all the parts into the mesh to store in the basement of the travel trailer. To reassemble, one side has a very large and strong velcro opening to “stretch” over one side of the assembled poles making it easier than trying to wedge the poles into the legs with mesh bedding being really tight.Cleaning: I have not had to clean the elevated bed yet, however it seems that it would be pretty straight forward. A water hose to spray it off, maybe a scrub brush with a mild detergent or soap and water if it is muddy or gross I would think should suffice just fine. Her hair does not seem to cling any more to this item as it does to any other items she visits… such as the floor, sofa, carpet, kitchen counter, top of the cabinets, on my cell phone, inside my socks, inside my pillowcases, etc. It’s everywhere. This bed will be no different. If you made it to the end of this review, I think it deserves to be voted as helpful. If for no other reason it helped you burn another few minutes on the internet.

Oh this is an amazing dog bed.I needed something for my big dogs to lay on outside- soft beds get stinky easily and my Dobermans like to “dig” in their beds to fluff them up- so they get torn up really fast- even the tough ones. So…I figured this would be a good choice and especially after reading the reviews.Let me just say it’s FANTASTIC. I was a little worried since one end is held by Velcro, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. We have two 80lbs Dobermans and an 175lbs Great Dane. Both my big boys got on it immediately and it had no trouble holding them both.As you can see in my pictures- it easily accommodates 255 pounds of dog!! (My female dobie isn’t picture because she didn’t seem interested at first)For reference in my pictures – my Doberman is standard size, my Dane is xl- he is 6’2” when he stands on his hind legs. I bought the XL bed and he and one of my Dobermans can easily curl up together on it. I will be purchasing another one!!!

The media could not be loaded. Â I raise and show American Bully’s in dog shows. My foundation female, Xena loves this bed. She is the only one of my three that took right too it. Her daughter and son are not as intuitive as she is and I cannot get them to lay on it. I bought the large size hoping that two of them would use it together. It is large enough for a larger dog breed like a Rottweiler, Labrador or German Shepard. My dogs weigh in the 60 pound range. I put them on the back porch for a few hours in the morning. It is getting a little cooler so Xena utilized this bed immediately. I have had it for just over a week now and Xena uses it every day. Installation was easy without directions. But when you go to Velcro the flap on the one end, you will need a second person to help you pull it taut. We have not washed the cover yet but will soon. It is much better than a dog bed pillow type of bed because those eventually take on the dogs smell and are harder to wash becasue of their larger size cushions. This canvas is forgiving when Xena lays on it and can stretch. And it take up far less room in the wash machine and dryer. I am super glad I gave this a try. It is a keeper and I wont ever be uying dog bed pillows again. This is the way to go!

The VeeHoo Elevated Dog Bed is the best elevated dog bed I’ve purchased and it will be the last. It’s very well made and sturdy. When my husband was putting it together he made a comment about how well the parts fit and how secure the bed felt. It’s also very lightweight and easy to move. We have a 52lb rescue, Lucy who is all Belgian Malnois on her father’s side, 50% on her mother’s side and 50% Labrador Retriever. I could’ve gone with a Large but she likes to stretch out and I wanted to ensure she had plenty of room and does she! I bought the X Large, Brown and it’s a lot bigger than I expected. I can’t explain how very nicely made this product is, especially considering it’s price. But just as important to me is customer service and the customer service is amazing. I had a question and sent an email. I received a response within 24 hours. This company is the entire package which is extremely important to me. That said, in my opinion you won’t be disappointed if you purchase one of the Veehoo Cooling Elevated Dog Bed. Hope my pics give you an idea of this product.
