This is a “purrfect” first cat tree for our very young kittens. They love the fabric crunch balls inside the tower. I love that I can remove the tower and place it on the floor for the really young kittens.Few things to note:7 month old kittens and cats find it too small and it’s not quite roomy or sturdy enough for them. The tower fabric often collapses if the young kittens try to climb it or play to rough. It’s easy to pull back on but a bit annoying that there’s a need to do so.Overall, this is a wonderful cat tree for our little fur babies!

I purchased this for our smallest cat, Allie! We rescued her when she was only 6 weeks old and had been left on the side of a busy highway. She is now almost 15 years old. When my father in law passed away we adopted his 4 rescued cats and recently adopted a Boston Terrier puppy, therefore, I wanted to do something special for Allie since her life has been disrupted by all the other pets. The castle took quite awhile for my husband to assemble and he is very handy. It is very cute, but the places for ‘hiding’ are quite small and Allie still requires an additional bed to stretch out in. We also added a heated pad to the bottom hiding place which came with a small round pillow. There are several places to perch, but it’s much too small for our larger cats. Allie has always been petite and weighs only 8 lbs on a good day, so if you have large kitties they won’t be happy with the castle. Allie seems to enjoy it though and we have it on a cabinet that is about 4 feet tall and in front of a window. Allie moves from one perch to another all day!

Really awesome! Our 3 kittens love it! Two kittens can sleep together in the tower but when they all get bigger I can tell that one can sleep in the tower, one below the tower and 1 on the soft stand. Great product. Glad we bought it! Also the holes in the tower allow for more fun as they like to attack each other from the tower. The flag is sturdy but movable so jumping on it is fun for them. The hanging ball and the ones in the tower are a hit too.

My baby girl, Khaleesi, took to this as soon as I had it put together!! Which was easy to do as well, just a couple minutes of my time. The direction were easy to read although they did not tell me where to put the two washers it came with. This may be common sense to some but to me it was just two washers left over after I put the item together. I know it’s not good to have pieces left over but everything feels sturdy and I hope it stays that way!!! This item is just so cute and looks exactly like the one pictures online. I will post a picture if I can figure it out!! If you have a cat that is on the small side and she will stay that way and she is your little princess you cant go wrong with this purchase. I do have a male cat that is on the large side that I am hoping will sleep in the bed on top but as of right now he is showing no interest.

November 30, 2013It’s a good castle, it’s very sturdy, and plush and soft. it’s a good looking little castle and doesn’t hurt the theme of the house. It is however built for smaller cats. My little 10lb fellow fits in all the spaces but since he learned how to use the dog door the day after the castle arrived, he spends most of his time outside and at night he sleeps on my bed. I know he uses the castle, because the pillow in the bottom cave moves around, but I have yet to see him in there myself.I think his lack of using the castle has something to do with where it is placed in the house, sadly for him, there is no other truely good place for the castle at the moment.Edit Dec 16, 2013He loves his castle. It’s a nice hide-out from the dog and from me, and it gets sunshine in the afternoons. That is one happy cat in a very pretty castle.Edit June 7, 2014We got a new 8 week old kitten, and he adopted that castle, sleeps on the top perch, plays with the dangling balls, jumps up and down, he just loves it. Whenever he disappears, you know he is in his castle. Glad I bought it! And it’s still holding up really well to the kitten’s nails and playfulness.

I purchased the castle condo for my cats. While assembling it, we damaged one of the pieces. I reached out to Trixie Pet Products to request a replacement part, and I got a response within an hour. Their customer support was so helpful and attentive. Within a few days, I received the replacement part via FedEx and we finished assembling the kitty condo. Thank you, Trixie Pet Products!!The castle itself has been a major hit with my 2-year-old cat. The 15-year-old has sniffed it out, but is not as interested.

I read all the reviews on amazon as well as other websites about it and knew exactly what to expect. The purple color is a more of a lighter lilac purple but I actually prefer that over the stock photo. It is very easy to put together, seriously just 4 bolts and it has the tool to tighten them included. I bought this for my precious kitty “Baby Girl” who is my pride and joy for her 12th birthday! Baby Girl is a petite kitty, just over 7lbs and this is perfect for her! Like everyone else says this is for smaller cats 10lbs or under and kittens. The quality is extremely nice, the entire thing is covered in very soft plush fabric instead of rough carpet, with the exception of the scratching post of course. The plush item with the little purple kitty logo on it that hangs from the top level to the bottom is attached by velcro at the top and is a crinkle blanket. It has some plastic crunchy paper in it that make sound if your cat plays with it or brushes against it. Baby Girl loves it when I use a laser pointer on the crinkle blanket! The upper level of the palace has a pole up through the middle holding up the canopy that does limit the room in that level where larger cats would have more trouble using that section. There are two 3 inch plush beige rattle balls attached inside on a short string… though I think I’m going to cut them loose so Baby Girl can roll them around more in there or chase them around the house! The entire inside is covered in plush and the floor has that crinkle foil type material that makes noise as your kitty plays on it. On this upper level there is one large opening for the door on the purple plush area and a smaller window on the opposite side of the purple plush. The base on this upper level has 6 paw poking size windows all the way around for added fun! The top of the castle has a little plush flag that is adorable! The lower level house is pretty simple, has a removable and washable cushion and is quite roomy. I think a cat up to 10- 12lbs would fit comfortably in there! The inside diameter is 14 inches. Just like the top level the entire inside is also lined with the lilac plush. The scratch post tower is covered in sisal rope which is very nice because if the kitty ever wears out the sisal, it can easily be recovered with new sisal for about 5 dollars! It has a super comfy and VERY sturdy bed at the top of the tower which is also 14 inches wide but seems a bit smaller because of the thick cushy edges. Baby Girl uses it more as a look out point and play area than a bed so far but she’s only had it 2 days. There is a 3 inch plush lilac ball that hangs down and rattles from the tower bed. The bed is about 30 inches high from the ground. The entire unit is about 33lbs, very sturdy and the most adorable kitty castle I have ever saw! I am so glad I ordered it and Baby Girl is too! I looked at several pet stores and they didn’t have anything nearly as PURRRRFECT as this! And $90 with free shipping, you can’t beat that for such a royal retreat! Baby Girl feels just like a princess in her new palace! Thank you Amazon!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TREE/CASTLE!!! I’ve had MANY trees over the years and this one is awesome! I bought this one special for my silver shaded Persian (aka my “grand-kitten”) that I’ve hand raised since she was an hour old due to mom being sick and couldn’t care for her. Anyway, watching her grow in this and the enjoyment she’s had (as well as us) is superior to watching them in a “regular” tree!! It is made very well and sturdy, I’m pretty picky since I breed them. Has many parts that can be taken off and thrown in the washer when needed-always a plus! Sure beats using chemicals to clean ALL parts when hairballs arrive… I have other TRIXIE trees and have enjoyed them all!!! extremely sturdy and quality materials. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND particularly if you spoil your kitten/cat! You won’t be disappointed with this one or it’s uniqueness in comparison!!!

The media could not be loaded. Our cats love this. We have 10 cats and are redecorating the back room of our house to a kitty forest (complete with a castle). The only thing we didn’t like was the castle peak just slides down. It doesn’t attach in any way. I sewed it to the top so it wouldn’t come down. Also, as you will see at the end of the video, the flag comes off easily. It doesn’t matter how hard you try to screw it in, it won’t screw in hard enough for a grown cat to play with. We love everything else about this castle. Literally everything. The kitties adore it and haven’t left it alone since we put it together. It is very soft and lots of little things to play with. The dangles are all just stapled on, and they have already pulled one off, but they are easily reattached if you have a wood stapler, or a small nail. They all love it!

Originally my friend got me this for my cat who was ten years old. We thought she would look adorable in it. However, it ended up being too small and my cat got scared by all the noises it makes; it has a scratchy blanket and the tent part has a lot of balls with bells inside them. Overall, it really distracted her and freaked her out. She virtually never used it. We were a little sad.Well, sadly my cat died right before Christmas. I ended up getting a new kitten as I love animals and couldn’t really imagine a house without at least one furball. My Siamese kitten LOVES this thing. She’s adventurous and energetic, two musts for this castle. This is something you should buy for kittens or really frisky, small cats. Any other cat would do better with a more standard tree. But for those with very small, very frisky cats this is probably the best designed castle you could get. The little attentions to detail, like the flag spinning around, make it a dream for a curious cat who loves to play. Plus it’s adorable. In short: get this for kittens or a playful, tiny cat. Otherwise it will suck. But in the right paws, it’s pretty much a 1 stop entertainment center–and my kitten fits the bill.
