I bought then for my new kitten who was still being locked up in the bathroom while I was at work and at night time. I wanted to give him something that he could play on, scratch on, and hide in and nap in, and this thing….not sure what to call it, this cat teepee, is amazing and Oliver loves it! He would sleep in the hammock top part for hours, or hang off of it to play with the hanging balls, he loves those things. He’s learning to scratch on the rope material which is great for a kitten to associate scratching a material instead of a piece of furniture, so I’m all around excited about this! He’s about 3 months old now, and still comes running in hot and climbs it and hangs off it…. only once has it been on 2 wheels, so I’d say it’s pretty sturdy, because he’s a wild child ;) Also… no assembly, just take it out of the box!

This was a Christmas gift for our cat. He really had no cat tree because they’re ugly; just a cube with a scratcher and 2 play balls. We are replacing our couch because not only is it time, the cat scratched away one of the corners. So this purchase was to serve a double purpose. I saw that he used the scratch pad (yay) made of jute or sisal. Hopefully that will keep him from scratching the new couches. Also it is a tall stand or much taller than he was used to, so he spends a lot of time on it. Of course I added other comfy things he liked, so that helped. I am just very happy he is using it. The light gray color goes well with our decor. That brown one didn’t look nice but this light gray one does! Not ugly like cat trees either. Best of all, it folds up. Space saver.

I like it because it doesn’t take up a lot of space and I can easily move it to clean around. But it isn’t about ME is it?! SHE loves it because she can climb all over it. Drape herself over the side and play with the hanging toys. Hide in the cubby and dart out a me. Some say the hole is too small for big cats. Then either slice it or use it for toy storage. RAWR TOYS! I don’t see this as an issue ever. Don’t let that stop you. Well made, no assembly. Hours of fun and a place to nap betweens rounds.

I am very impressed with this cat tower so far. It is sturdier than I thought it would be for a folding design. It took a little while for my cats to be comfortable jumping up on it because they are jumping up onto a sling instead of a solid surface. I love that it has so many features. The first thing one of my cats did was play with the hanging toys. Next, he investigated the little hiding area on the bottom. I was afraid it might only accommodate kittens but this cat is 11lbs and he fit in there just fine. It also comes with a separate little cushion to make the floor more comfortable. Now that he is comfortable with the sling, this tower is his favorite hangout. He sits with his paws hanging over the edge of the sling and watches me cook dinner; he looks so comfortable and relaxed. My other cat gives the scratching pad a workout and uses it often. It is made of a very sturdy weave of sisal. The two cats often play peek-a-boo in the hiding area. To top it off, the tower is convenient to fold up and move which is important because our kitchen is small. The only problem we had is that I ordered the gray color and received a beige one. It didn’t matter because that color works in my kitchen too. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I hope it lasts a long time; my kitties do too.

Excellent 5-Star product and my “EX-KITTEN” had a lot of fun with it last night and this morning. I highly recommend this product as it will probably get your cat’s attention very quickly. ONE MAJOR POINT TO CONSIDER: If you order this product, ask for the package and contents to be concealed, as mine item arrived at my apartment building in the ORIGINAL BOX showing a nice picture of the product along with BIG LETTERS saying what it was. Note: Our apartment building does not allow stealth kittens or pets… So, apparently, the doorman saw the package when the mailman delivered the package. They let the building management know what occurred, and to make a long story short — this morning I had a note on my door with an assessment of a $100 fine and I had to get rid of my 10-week old kitten asap. This really sucked because I already spent 11 days with him, and he was not one of those free cats either. Wow… Thanks Amazon for not putting my item into another box to conceal its contents. Ordering this product was a very very costly, negative experience for me and my family. However, it was a very nice item – which I would give at least 5-stars to. But I must give Amazon – a BIG FAT ZERO… (or less) on this purchase because of this issue! Geeeezzzzz…! Thanks again…

I’ll start with what I love. It folds up easy. Has a scratching area and a place to hide underneath. What my cat likes. From 2-4 months she loved the bottom part. Now that she’s bigger she really doesn’t use it. She loved playing with the toys hanging off. Unfortunately we had to remove them because she kept getting her paw stuck when it wrapped around her paw and as she pulled it would tighten and she couldn’t get loose. She is now 6 months old and still sleeps on it regularly. We move it in the bedroom at night and back to the livingroom by the couch during the day. She gets upset if we forget to move it in the morning. Now things to keep in mind. She has tipped it over several times. She pretty aggressively jumps on it and usually has no problem. I also had to tack the corners where staples came loose. I just used a small nail and it’s super secure now. Overall I am happy with this purchase and so is my cat.

As a “lounger” this is my 7yo/12lb/male tuxedo cat’s favorite spots to hang out. It just happens to stand a little below the window level where I set it up and he thinks he’s cool, hiding below the window frame, with only his “periscope” eyes sticking up over the ledge. Very cute! When we have “laptime” at night, I put an old bath towel on my lap, wait until he gets sleepy, then pick him up in the towel and transfer straight onto the top of the hammock. I also like that I can take it outside and let him sit on it for grooming. Very convenient! There were a couple of minor disappointments. 1) He isn’t a scratcher, so that feature didn’t work out at all. I spent hours trying to get him interested in the scratch board , but I think its verticality did not appeal. Cats, right? Also, the “hideout” in the bottom is tto smal for anything but a kitten. He’ll stick a paw in to grab a toy out, but that feature proved unnecessary, as did the dangling toys. Still, out of all the stuff I’ve bought for my cat, this is among the top 5 best products, so I gave it a 5! Final tip: I throw an old bath towel across the top for him to lay on, then wash it every couple of weeks. So much easier than cleaning “cat furniture.”

I’ve now bought 3 of these over several years. We had a kitten that absolutely loved this! He loved playing hide-and-seek in the bottom part, sleeping in the top part, attacking the hanging balls, and scratching up the side. When he was hiding in the bottom, my husband would tease him with toys flickering around the corner, causing our kitten to attack the fabric surrounding the cut-out hole. Over time, he started to shred all of the fabric around the cut-out when playing with my husband. After a few years it eventually looked ratty so I replaced it. The replacement worked great for about a year until it was ruined when our home flooded. Our cat missed his scratching post and took to scratching up our couch, so I bought it again. The cat still loves it just as much now as when he was a kitten. The only thing I did notice was now he is a little too tall to use the scratching post on the side, so we’ll eventually need to get another cat tree for him, but even then we’ll keep this one until it falls apart because our cat clearly loves it.Also, I really like how easily it folds up. It’s really quick and simple to pack away if you have guests over and don’t want to have them know the cat has taken over your space. It also makes it easy to move from room to room if you need to.

Nice little cat tree that my big 16 lb cat likes to sleep on. We put it right next to the desk so that the big guy has somewhere to lay that is not on or right in front of the keyboard. The top hammock is right on desk level so he seems to be ok with the change. He also loves the balls hanging from the side. neither of the cats usually go for the little toys hanging but he is in love with this tree. I will say that one of the balls fell off on the first day, but that hasn’t stopped the cats from playing with it. It fits our style

We recently adopted 2 kittens. Within the first day of having them in our home it was easy to see that they were “perch” cats (they like to be up off the ground to observe their kingdom). However I was initially hesitant to buy a full sized cat tree while they’re still fairly small & still learning how to “cat”. This seemed like a great introduction unit. Set up was as easy as unpacking it, opening the X frame & using the mounting hardware to attach it to the wall to make sure they don’t accidentally tip it over. The kittens were leery of it at first but quickly began to climb in it, on it, through the cave, etc. They haven’t quite figure out that they can use the one side to scratch on, but they have figured out how to detach the poms with bells. It’s okay, I didn’t really expect those to stay on anyways. Right now we’re using this in our living room & it’s next to the entertainment unit to give them an alternative place to climb (believe it or not, it’s actually worked), but our plan is to move this upstairs & replace it with a full size cat tree in the near future. All-in-all, I think this was a great purchase for the money & would recommend it to those considering a small cat tree for their feline friends.
