I have no idea why Tide Laundry Detergent Liquid Soap Eco-Box isn’t consistently the least expensive (per load) Tide detergent option. I mean, I would think the spare packaging amortized across a fairly large volume would make it cheaper, no? I guess not. Regardless of the cost, though, I do try to do what I can to reduce my plastic usage. As far as the Eco-Box goes, I just use it to refill a plastic Tide container I got years ago. That works well, though you should note that the pour valve does make the detergent shoot out to the side a little. When you get towards the end of the box, though, I’d recommend tearing the package apart. This will allow you to squeeze out a useful amount of detergent that you otherwise would not be able to get to. Recommended

Exactly like the original Tide, we love, but less plastic. PLEASE consider trying this Eco-box vs so many discarded plastic jugs. It’s a way to help save the planet without having to sacrifice one thing. The Eco-box sits neatly on the shelf, doesn’t drip and is even easier to pour than what you’re used to. Seals tight. Accurate dispensing. Did I mention …doesn’t leak! I had expected to need to use this as a refill, thus pouring it into my last Tide jug. Decided to try the included no leak dispenser, and I could not be more pleased. Love, love it when things work the way they should. Just like Tide laundry detergent, the packaging is effective, easy and works as efficiently as all things should. Plus helps the Planet. Less plastic, less waste, and the large size both costs a little less, per wash, and allows you to order less frequently. The box also weighs less for shipping. It’s just an all around sensible choice.

I really have come to like the eco-boxes. They don’t take up as much room on the top of the washer, and as you can see, I can skip the “cup” and fill directly into the dispenser (WARNING: When you first use the box it has a strong flow, so for those unskilled with this dispensing method, USE CAUTION and slowly open the valve, or use the cap).My wife and I have learned the various sizes and amounts needed for my LG HE Front Load washer that we no longer need the cup and directly fill into the liquid detergent area. I really like this as it’s super easy to do (once you learn) and doesn’t drip as you use it. I just open the valve, fill, close valve, use softener (if used, sometimes I use dryer balls or fabric) and off we go.It is the same liquid as the plastic “jugs” and I actually feel there is less “waste” in these compared to the jugs (It takes a lot of effort to empty all of the liquid from a jug for some reason in my opinion). I’ve ripped open the side of the box before and confirmed that very very little liquid was left. They do include a pace to leave the cup, as well legs. We haven’t noticed any issues with just leaving the box flat on the washer and gently pulling it into position. Once the washer is ready, we push it a little further back so any vibration doesn’t toss the box to the floor.I doubt I’ll buy another massive jug anytime soon. My only concern is how recycling works for this due to the type of bag the “bladder” is made of.Complaints? Honestly there are little except that there (as of this review) no other variants available such as “Total Clean” that comes in handy for our children’s clothes. Thanks Tide!

The box dispenser is like boxed wine. It fits well on my laundry room shelf but my favorite part is the little spot on the top of the box to set the measuring cup! With the older containers there was never any where to put the cup because if you put it back on the container it would always drip since some was left inside the cup. The new dispenser also doesn’t continue to drip like the previous version. Tide is the best detergent always so not much else to say on that end but I had t leave a review bc I love the new container so much haha…guess this is what excites me now as a person in their 30’s.

I really like this new packaging. The box is easier to store especially if you have multiples and other boxes like washing soda. It’s so much easier for me to dispense this than a pour bottle. No leaky, funky residue on the sides, it’s a clean on/off spout. The flexible bag means you can get more product out toward the end and I feel good about recycling the cardboard. The package design really impressed me and I’m surprised to find myself curious to see what designers are able to come up with next as we move toward more sustainable consumer products. As for Tide, I like it. I use this with Washing Soda. I try not to get “loyal” to brands and I’m always open to more natural options but it gets our clothes clean consistently without a lot of extra work on my part so here we are.

Love that it is compact – doesn’t take up much space on my washer, and uses less plastic than a normal bottle of Tide

Only the best for a detergent snob like myself. I don’t know if other detergents really are as good, but I rather not find out. I am extremely satisfied with Tide Original, and have been a consumer for for many years. Tide is a reliable product that I depend upon for great results. I like that I get my desired results without exception. Tide works to get out bad odors and common non-set in stains. My kids clothes coming out looking clean and smelling great and with a 4 year old who perpetually mistakes his shirts for a napkin that’s all I can ask for.

I love Tide and this Tide box is next level amazing. They thought of everything, even a cool cap holder at the top. I also love that the nozzle doesn’t drip like the nozzle does on the big jugs. Great product!

Staple in our home for the last 30 years. Yes, it cost more up front but buying budget detergent ends up costing so much more in the long run. IMO. Cheaper detergents consist of a lot of water so naturally the consumer would use more. But for me the big factor is that I can wash my children’s clothes week after after week and they look brand new when they grow out of them allowing me to resell. I’ve tried other laundry detergents in the past, so disappointing how after a month of use anything washed in it is ready for the trash. No fading black, colors remain bright, and whites remain, well white. Not to mention how fresh and clean our laundry smells day after day.

Great designed box. Super easy dispensing and a holder for the cup. Also love it don’t leak like other bottles with a spout. The only negative is recently tide changed all their scents in their detergents. It’s not the best and smells like sweet tarts. Glad it cleans well otherwise would switch just because of the scent change. Also love that they have made this more concentrated than the jugs meaning more loads in a smaller box. Hope they keep these boxes around as they are very easy to store on the washer with no mess. Won’t be buying any bottles anymore and continue to buy this way.
