Love this. I usually buy the Nordstrom brand lingerie wash but didn’t have time to go into a store (and it’s not available online), so I found this and I love it. I keep it in the shower with a pump top (I bought that at Sally’s Beauty Supply and just transfer it from bottle to bottle). I’m able to wash out my expensive Wacoal bras and sports bras every night to keep them fresh and in good shape. Nice scent, nice lather – but not too much of either.

I first bought it 3 years ago and was skeptical tbh. $20 for a relatively small-sized laundry detergent that says it can replace the dry cleaning??? But I had no choice: I was getting more dresses that were 100% rayon or silk-blended. Regular detergent made them shrink, and dry cleaning them every single time was just too expensive. And OH MY, I cannot imagine my laundry life without this!!! I use it so often, saved a ton of money, yet the detergent is so condensed that it took me 3 years to finish the bottle!!!! (I was using them for a small-load-size handwash). I finally got my second bottle. I just love this one!!!

I bought this upon recommendation of my sister. She is very careful with her intimates/undergarments, so I though I should probably take better care, too.It is definitely a bit pricey for laundry detergent, but the scent – at least to me – makes it all worth it. It is incredibly sudsy, so that recommended capful is there for a reason. I have only washed intimates/undergarments plus wool sweaters with this detergent. I must say it does a good job getting the dust and dirt off and other things. It is more effective if you handwash and a warmer water temperature is used … like between tap cold and lukewarm. I’ve used it in the washing machine, too… and although the results are good, they could be better. I’ll stick with handwashing.

No need to go to the dry cleaners when you have this and an iron. I put my silk scarves in a 99¢ mesh bag bought at daiso washed with cold water and hung to dry. The next day I iron all scarves. I placed silk on ironing board and a thin linen fabric over the silk and ironed, this method insures you will in no way ruin your delicate while ironing.

I’ve been switching any products I use to all natural organic. Our area has hard harsh water…desert lifestyle comes with changes in what one uses. I’ve filtered my hot and cold water to washer and then use this product. It’s works well, but it’s not a stain remover…use Borax or Millard and spray directly on spots to gently rub with stain remover immediately before washing clothes…don’t use mesh bag and best to wash alone if clothes are stained…just a recommended tip. This product works well alone if there’s no stain.

I wear almost exclusively silk dresses and blouses to work, so this lovely product is perfect. The smell is great, and it works well with the mesh bags also by the Laundress. Make sure that you put them in the bag in your machine on delicate and cold, and then hang to dry and follow with a steamer to get out the wrinkles. I will be purchasing again!

I’ve wanted to try The Laundress products for as long as I can remember but with so many vices I just felt overwhelmed. I discovered the small stain bar and couldn’t believe how well it worked and actually lasted so eventually I made a decision and am SO glad I finally did! This particular product is wonderful! Fabrics come out super clean and oh so soft. The scent is nearly unnoticeable and just a wee bit goes a long way.I can see my laundry room now becoming well stocked with the varying formulas and I no longer balk at prices considering what an amazingly thorough job The Laundress does for me.

I never thought detergent would be something that gets me excited, but this stuff is a game-changer. I originally bought it to wash my silks, and it works wonderfully for that. But then I thought… what about wool? I have a lot of thrift-bought vintage wool, and I NEVER take it to the dry cleaners because it’s expensive, and I’m lazy. So I threw a wool blazer into a mesh bag and threw it in the wash. The results: beautifully clean and SOFT wool. Seriously, it’s SO soft! No pilling or other damage done. Love, love, love this stuff. It’s worth the price, which, I admit, is high, but is still cheaper than the dry cleaners.

I absolutely love this detergent – works for HE machines as well. My clothes come out smelling wonderful. I decided not to take my expensive silk to the cleaners as they never really get any stains out and I’d rather spend the cash spent at the cleaners on other stuff or bulk up my wallet with it. I checked out some youtube vids on how to do your own dry cleaning and this product was recommended so I gave it a shot. I’m so happy I did. It is truly a great product. I also bought the stain removal and it easily took out any stains I had on all of my silk shirts (and poplin) even the white and other light colored silk shirts. Thanks a bundle for saving me the cleaning costs and also saving me from the disappointment of not having the stains out. From now on – it will be nothing but using Laundress. 32 loads for 19 might seem a bit high, but when you consider what you would be charged at the cleaners (not to mention the hassle of dropping it off and picking it up before they close as well as the time involved) – it’s a bargain!

So I’m going to be candid and possibly reveal TMI: I rarely wash my bras. As in… ever. OK, maybe twice a year. I know. I’m disgusting. In my defense, I DO have 10 “regular” bras that I cycle, and I wash my sports bras after each use, but, yeah, OK, still gross. So I finally gave in to my sister’s “YOU ARE SO GROSS” comments– OK, so it was moreso that I actually read that it helps the longevity of bras to wash them regularly. So after reading reviews and watching the “how to” video from The Laundress, I decided “looks easy enough” and got the wash. It came in and I filled the sink and tossed in a few bras and let them sit. I came back after the soaking and the water was murky and there was stuff floating on top like a swamp. It was so. gross. I had no idea!!!! They didn’t stink and they LOOKED clean!!!! But no, they were absolutely filthy.I rinsed, rolled and hung dry and they really did look quite fabulous. Not sure how it would compare to Woolite or some other wash out there, but this stuff is really delicate and since it’s a liquid it dissolves in water super easy (vs a powder formula) and it smells quite lovely. Plus, it is super duper concentrated, and a teeny amount (as in 1 capful) cleans the garments, and it’s only 4-8 capfuls to clean clothes in a washer (“capful” is the teeny black cap you see in the picture, it’s about an inch high.)I highly recommend it.
