Based off my first use I am going to give this five stars. I already love this mop.I purchased this to replace a 2.5 years old Swiffer Wet Jet. If this mop only last half as long, I will feel like I got my money’s worth (only $25)! I’ve included size comparison photos, so you can see the size of The Reveal vs Swiffer Wet Jet.The Reveal mop is light weight and a great length for met at 5’6″. The Reveal allows for longer strokes and the cleaning base is substantially larger than the Swiffer Wet Jet, so you’re covering more area by length and width than you would with the SWJ.The reusable cleaning cloths are great. They are not as abrasive as the disposable SWJ pads, so if you have any “stuck on” stuff you may have to put a little extra elbow grease into it.There are no batteries, instead you use a pump action trigger (similar to a spray bottle) to spray the cleaner. The sprayer sprays a really good distance. I noticed that if you do not want it to spray as far or wide, you can hold the mop arm more upright. The Rubermaid Reveal is also so much quieter than the SWJ (an added bonus when you have a sleeping toddler). The bottles that hold solution are a decent size. I was able to mop nearly all of my home (master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, play room, front and back mud rooms and laundry room) with one bottle of solution and one cleaning pad. The cleaning pad wasn’t even sopping wet by the time I was done. My cleaning time was cut down by 20 minutes! This was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend! My set came with the mop (no assembly required), two solution bottles and three reusable cleaning pads.

First off, I HATE to sweep and mop floors. This mop was highly praised in a blog post, so I decided to try it in hopes of being inspired. The blog post was right–I love this tool. The pad is large so it covers a large area of floor with each swipe and it’s easy to attach and pull off the pad to throw in the washer. The pad has texture and does a good job of scrubbing areas where my vinyl planks have dirt stains. I fill the plastic container with my own cleaning solution, and one bottle lasts through several cleaning sessions. Between sessions I just pull out the bottle and store it upright. The mop frame itself has a nice swivel so you can easily push it into low-clearance areas. The spray is easy to dispense with the trigger and there are no batteries, so there’s really no maintenance except to wash the pad.I do vacuum before I mop so I’m not dealing with too much surface debris. But honestly, in five minutes I can grab the mop, attach the pad, plug in the bottle, and mop the entire kitchen and main traffic areas in the living room. This mop would NOT be good for some laminate flooring I’ve had that curls up its edges at the slightest hint of moisture–but on vinyl plank flooring it rules!

I’ve tried other brands and ended up giving them to charity. I love the Multi-Surface Microfiber Wet Mopping Pad and the scrubber for tough stains works great! The other brands would just glide over the stains and floor and not clean the floor at all. I fill the container ONLY with Bruce Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner ( I don’t dilute it ) I Highly recommend – I have been using Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop for over 9 years now and would not use anything else.

I hate mopping. When it comes to house duties, I will happily sweep and vacuum and dust, but don’t you dare make me use that grubby, gross mop and bucket. Whether its a squeeze sponge mop or an old-timey string mop, I hate them all the same. The swiffer thing just pushes dirt around and I’m not a fan of all the unnecessary disposable waste. Mopping SUCKS!So my girlfriend tells me “we sweep and mop every night after the kids go to bed” and I’m like “who has the time for THAT?!” It’s such a process. You gotta fill the bucket, rinse the mop, deal with soaking wet floors for like 30 minutes. Ew.She texts me the link to this mop. I’m like “ok, I like the way it looks, I love the reusable pads. I can just toss those in the wash, and I love that I can use my own cleaning detergents. Hardwood floors, tile, no matter, it’s dealer’s choice”. So I get this mop and all it’s fancy washable pads and I’m excited! Did I mention I hate mopping?Since you’re mopping with what you spritz (and you’re filling the bottle with hot water), the detergent goes on thin and dries pretty quickly. No dried footprints to worry about! No avoiding a room for god knows how long, waiting for it to dry. I like that :)I love that I can spritz a little detergent on the floor, mop-mop-mop and boom! Room is clean. The sprayer is on the handle, so how you angle it determines where the spray goes. There’s a scrubby pad on the head for tough spots, which works well enough, but really, my big thing is the removable, washable pad. It’s attached with velcro to the head. It’s not necessary, but I would pop the pad off, rinse it between rooms, squeeze it out, and then mop the next room. That way I wasn’t carrying any heavy grime from room to room. One thing I never would of thought of is clearance. No, not the sale, though I do love those, too. The head is wide and thin, so I can fit this under furniture and built-ins without having to pull anything away from the wall. I gotta admit, I vacuum a lot, but this thing found an impressive fur-ball in the skinny space under my desk. The mop pivots really well, is light, easy to handle and substantial. I don’t feel like I’m going to break it (which I immediately did with the Libman spongy mop I bought a year ago). This mop will be my mop forever. I LOVE THIS THING! And I’m warming up to mopping. I wouldn’t say I love it just yet. ;)

I absolutely love the Rubbermaid mop. I have of course used traditional mops, and I previously purchased a Swiffer mop set. Regular mops clean well, but are clunky, tedious, and tend to get gunky fairly quickly; not to mention finding replacement heads that fit your model. The Swiffer was useful for a quick spruce up, but not for a really good deep clean. I often had to use several sheets to get an entire floor (this is the older model without the spray attachment), and again, buying replacement cleaning sheets was a bit tedious and pricey. Also, the catches for the sheets were really not that dependable.I bought this kit, and I seriously love it. I even mop more because it makes it so easy to clean up. It comes with two mop heads, but I’ve actually just reused one over and over by spraying it off after use in the sink (I bought this kit early this year, and just now have removed the first head for washing.) I see unlimited re-usability since the mops are washable, and the kit I purchased came with two heads. I also use a vinegar water solution (1:2 or 1:3 depending on preference) that I know cleans and will pick up dirt, and leave the floors with a bright luster. Highly recommend for apartments and small multi-room areas.

The media could not be loaded. Just got done cleaning my floors with the mop really awesome what I like about it the reusable Pads no batteries no buying a container of spray Cleaner like four the swiffer to me the swiffer was a money pit buying the Pads buying the cleaner and buying batteries with this you can add your own solution comes with two containers three cleaning pads me having my own cleaning business on the side I bought extra pads and also the dusting mopp hed I’m happy with this and I highly recommend and if you’re into doing your baseboards the spray comes out high and covers a good area but the spray is high as your baseboards and that’s a plus 😊

The media could not be loaded. I like the fact that I can use my mop on my hardwood floors and my ceramic tile. Both of them look fantastic! I had my last mop, which was identical to this one, for 11 years. It worked as well as the day I purchased it. The issue was I left the dirty pads on and the mop itself became musty smelling. I reordered the identical mop as ILOVED IT!!! The pads are extremely absorbent and the floors dry within 3-4 minutes. I can use it for a small spill or a daily mopping chore. I have 3 dogs so it definitely gets a workout! I love my Rubbermaid mop!

This is my fourth spray mop purchase. The others were generic brands and failed one way or another. They’d either be really picky about what kinds of pads would work with them, or the sprayer would fail, or the tank would be leaky, the clip-together handle would be flimsy, etc. So I bit the bullet and spent more to buy this one because I’ve never had a Rubbermaid anything let me down quality wise. It actually gets the job done reliably, I threw out the failed mops. I expect it to last for years. Since it comes with two bottles, you could mix up two types of cleaning mixes and label the bottles for easy switching. I run mine with a vinegar/water mix and any generic brand washable pad will work with this.I will note this is better for every day/weekly type cleaning and spills. If you want to deep clean you’re probably going to want to use other methods anyways like scrubber tools or absorbent sponges.

I have wood floors, and the builder told us to only use a product called GLITZA to maintain the finish. After a natural disaster required replacing the floor, the local flooring guy said he’d never recommend anything other than GLITZA. Well, I’ve tried every mop known to man in an effort to get one I liked for my hardwood *AND* vinyl floors. This mop ended all searches!I was amazed, after I dust mopped, then vacuumed my HW floors, I used this mop w/my GLITZA dilution in the bottle. The amount of “stuff” this mop picked up was amazing! We’ve had horrible air quality here in the NW due to smoke from forest fires. No AC, so that stuff gets in your house b/c you have the windows open in the summer heat. The dust mop, the vacuum – neither helped with that residue, but this mop sure picked it up!The pad doesn’t slip off, it’s easy to put on/take off, it washes like a dream! I even cleaned my walls this weekend (smoke residue from the air) and it worked like a champ! The quality of the mop build is wonderful! The seal between the bottle and the mop is fabulous – no drips/no leaks! It sprays a very fine mist, so there’s really no chance of over-spraying your cleaning fluid unless you get trigger happy and spray spray spray spray – and even then, it’s hard to create a drippy mess on the floor.I keep one of the two bottles w/wood floor cleaner, the other has a diluted mix of Mrs. Meyers organic all purpose cleaner.I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with this product, it’s easy to use, comfortable on the hands/back (and I’m 6′ tall). It’s a spendy mop, but worth every single penny!

I have had this mop for over a year. It is fantastic. I do put my own alcohol/vinegar/Dawn cleaning solution in the bottles because it is too much less expensive. I considered getting a vac mop this year, but reconsidered when I read reviews, because this mop works so well. I am 5’9″ and it is tall enough for me to manage easily. Pads go right in the washing machine. I bought two pads which they say you can use 100 times each. The bottles are great and don’t leak at all. I could not be happier with this product.
