I love my Corgel and Bagel. I don’t want to feed them Ol’ Roy, but I cannot afford Taste of the Wild or Blue. I have found this to be a very good balance between what I can afford and high quality food I feel good about giving them. And they LOVE it. The Corgel would eat saw dust, but the Bagel turns her nose to almost everything. In this case they never leave their bowls empty.

We have been buying this food for years! When Rachael Ray came out with this food, we switched and our dogs all loved it and their coats improved. We have tried beef and chicken. The dogs seem to prefer the beef. This brand has not been on the recall lists as far as I know, which adds some comfort in knowing we are feeding quality food to our dogs!

Have only had a few weeks to get a handle on this. After Buddy’s normal dog kibble wasn’t available Amazon substituted the Rachael Ray’s. Buddy Gray absolutely devours it. His old kibble would sit for hours and sometimes a day before finishing it. Not with the Rachael Ray. It’s gone and the bowl licked clean in minutes. He’s a pretty finicky eater and has allergies as well so finding him the right combo sure makes keeping him feed and healthy a bonus.

Dog seems to like it but she also sniffs butts so can’t be trusted.

This is the only dog food I give to my 2 pugs. I tried expensive high end brands like Blue Buffalo, Merrick. My one pug kept getting blocked anal gland. Trips to Vet were 3x year.I decided to give this a try. Have not had ONE issue. Since the switch my dog has had ZERO anal gland (yuk) issues. Its been a year since I started giving it to them. However, I just started buying on Amazon because the bag was getting too heavy for me to carry. My dogs love it. I love the price and the ingredient list meets my demands. Win win.And its Never had any recalls like some of the ‘designer’ expensive brands. Works for me.

Choosing the right dog food took me much longer than I would care to admit. In the end, my decision was based upon the quality rating on the Dog Food Advisor website, customer reviews including the number of them, cost, the availability of the food locally, the calorie content, and my dogs preference as the resulting stool. Having recently purchased a Goldendoodle puppy, the health guarantee required that I use a food that was rated at least four stars on the Dog Advisor website. These folks test the foods and evaluate them and review the ingredients that have been shown to cause health issues. In this case for example, dried peas, soybean meal, whole ground corn, dried plain beet pulp. Essentially all of the foods that they review have ingredients with issues so this one is not particularly alarming. At about $1.20 per pound it is the most affordable choice that carries a four star rating. Amazon customer reviews are numerous, about 16,000 and at 4.6 this food is rated at the high end of the scale. It is also available at local retailers in the event you run short. One of the biggest considerations for me was the calorie content. A large on-line retailer gives you the calorie content of each food under the nutritional tab and Nutrish is at 326 per cup. This compares to about 420 for a much more popular brand (shown on the right in the picture) and which I have used for years. In the included picture, the Nutrish food is on the left and the other brand is on the right. Visually you can see that you can give you dog more food since both portions represent the same number of calories. You can also see that the Nutrish food appears to have a coating that the other food lacks. In a taste test, both of my dogs showed a clear preference for the Nutrish brand. The final consideration was the stool. I was going to include a picture but then decided against on the idea that only a dad could be proud of his dogs poop. This dog food has worked out great for me and my girls. In addition to the Goldendoodle, I also have a nine year old Rottweiler which accounts for my calorie concerns.

My spoiled hounds love this food, we buy several varities of the Rachel Ray brands. Once per week we also lightly cook a big pot of meat, veggies olive and coconut oil sometimes with rice for the dogs and then mix it with the kibble at meal time. I feel this is a better diet for them as it has more meat and good oils.I noticed that my hounds poops do not stink as much with this brand and it is in a decent price range. Although it is the lowest priced kibble we buy for them.It is cheaper on Amazon by about $5-$8 than my local walmart of grocery store, and it gets delivered so that is bonus.I dont really have any pics of them eating food, so attached are just pics of them because everybody like pet pics.

It is truly difficult to find a quality beef based dog food. After my sweet little German Short-Haired Pointer turned 1 year old, I started began the task of finding an adult food for him. Most are foods in the store (grocery or pet store) are chicken or fish based. I found that my pointer didn’t seem to like these products very much and the end result as it moved through is system was short and runny stool. After trying a bag of the Rachel Ray Beef, not only did he like the food – the end result was much more normal stool. And 2 plus years later, he is still doing well. Thank goodness, I found a quality beef based food

I have 2 dogs, a 2 year old german shepherd and a 2 and 1/2 year old daschund mix. We got him at the shelter. I was feeding them a cheaper brand of dog food. They are usually very playful but seemed to be slowing down. The German Shepherd, Apollo, started losing weight. Not a good sign. He just wasnt eating well. I decided to change their food to something better for them. The Rachael Ray was an instand hit. The ingredients are good for them and its very affordable. My German Shepherd has gained weight and they are both back to their usual selves. I like the varienty of flavors also.

My 100lb black lab and 55 lb golden retriever always eat this, wet or dry, and their coats are shiny and healthy. Because of financial problems I had to temporarily switch to a cheaper dog food, what a mistake! Took me a month to realize how much my black lab’s shedding increased, vacuuming 3x a week turned into 5 or 6! She’s a heavy shredder but it got 10x worse, jot mention the gas my digs were releasing, so bad.. Came back to Rachel Ray, and already I’m seeing a slowing in the amount of shedding, vacuuming alot less fur, and No more surprise gassing by my furbabies.. (Well not completely, but their digestion is alot better, evidence is in poop cleanup..) Great dog food!
