To say this product has been beneficial is putting it mildly. My cats are mixed, one loves it, the other one doesn’t care for it. However, when my little kitty girl got sick, she began to refuse all food… except for this stuff!Eventually, we began to add it to her canned wet food, and she started eating again! To see her content and healthy again… I’m so glad we had this for her.BTW- the vet didn’t see anything wrong, so we guess she just had a really bad stomach bug. This provided the food she needed and could keep down for the few days before she could eat other things again.

You can make a cat do anything for this chicken! And dogs too. It’s truly unbelievable how they go nuts over this chicken. I even used a clicker training device each time when giving these treats and EVERYONE learned to come running to me when I clicked the clicker within a couple days. When my vet told me that protein content on all cat foods (canned and dried) will qualify as ‘protein’ even if it has chicken feathers in it I realized that supplementing with 100% bona fide protein is important. And most importantly, my 17 year old cat who is going through chemo will eat as much of these chicken bites as I put in front of him. I crush and sprinkle it on his canned and homemade food and switch and also will put it in a small bowl with water which encourages him to drink and eat the bites that absorb the water to make sure he gets more fluids in. Great product!

And I like giving it to them because I know it’s good for them. I tried all of the kitty flavors and this is the only one they really enjoy. I recommend it, especially if you have cats with urinary issues that can’t have regular treats. I use the little pieces that are left at the bottom to top their wet food, so nothing goes to waste.

I had been buying the dog size bites because the price comes out cheaper. It was so much easier to not have to break up the larger pieces I decided to spring for the higher price. Either way, my fussy cat thoroughly enjoys the taste.

When I was first considering the switch to PureBites, I had some safety concerns. The product is 100% raw freeze-dried chicken, and I was worried about exposing myself and my cat pathogens like Salmonella and E. coli. I also didn’t want to go through raw food precautions every time I handled the treats. So I sent an email to the company’s customer service. I found the response very helpful, so I’d thought that I would share it here:”Thank you for contacting PUREBITES with your concern. Our facility is producing pet treats that are heat processed in a manner that destroys pathogens. All our pet treats are freeze-dried – a process that has a thermal process step that is effective in the destruction of pathogens. Our pet treats are processed for a minimum of 15-20 hours at temperatures ranging from 150F-185F. To validate the destruction of pathogens, every batch of our pet treats are tested for the following pathogens and total plate, yeast, and mold prior to packaging by an accredited independent laboratory.· Salmonella· E.coli· Coliforms· Staph. Aurous· Listeria”I feel intensely satisfied with the prompt and thorough response that I received and feel no hesitation about either handling these treats, or giving them to my cat.Compared to other freeze-dried cat treats, PureBites are a great value. They are much lower in price than most other brands of freeze-dried treats, and they are easy to break into smaller pieces when needed. Most importantly, my cat loves them!

Cats are prone to getting chronic kidney disease as they age. This treat was one of the few low Phosphate treats my kitty could have. Look for low Phosphate foods and treats to help reduce the risk of kidney disease in your beloved kitty.

My cat has loved, begged for, this treat since we adopted her 18 months ago. Now with this latest order she won’t touch it, just looks, maybe sniffs, and walks away. What could be wrong? I think, but I’m not absolutely certain, that the latest order has a much stronger odor, scent than previous orders. Has there been a change in this product?

So my 15 1/2 pound Russian Siberian cat is a super picky eater. Which is highly unusual for the breed. He will only eat dry cat food, wont touch wet food nor the kitty tube treats. He wont eat most crunchy treats. He literally sniffs them and walks away. His 10 pound kitty sister is too happy and will gobble up anything he turns his nose up at. I was interested to try these since I loved that they were just chicken and nothing else. Both of my cat ADORE them. I order them 4 at a time so I never risk running out.

I wanted a treat that was heather than some of the more popular ones out there. As a matter of fact my vet calls those “Kitty crack”. I was delighted to find this treat that is freeze dried meat with I’m assuming no additives. My cat is fussy so I was concerned that she might not like them but she LOVES them. There a little pricey but it is worth it to have something healthier than the ones with lots of additives, chemical etc.

My cat loves these treats so much, if he hears me pick up the bag he comes running and attempts to climb my leg like I am a tree so that he can get to the treats. I assume they taste good! What I as a pet owner like about these treats is that they are not only affordable, but healthy. You definitely get a good amount of treats for the price. The only ingredient in these treats is chicken. That is it. It is freeze dried chicken. You do not have to worry about your pet getting any additional fillers or things they do not need. The treats do not have a strong overpowering smell. These are my favorite treats to buy my cat, and they are his favorite ones to eat. He has not finished his first bag yet and I have already ordered a second bag so he will not run out!
