I have a 13-year old Basset Hound, Sadie, who suffers from arthritis. This week we finally came to the conclusion that it was not safe for her to climb the stairs and sleep in our bed upstairs. She used to be able to jump on and off the couch but even that was starting to hurt her. As much as I didn’t want to face the reality that my baby was an old dog, I finally started researching dog beds and came across this gem. After reading the reviews I decided this would be the best option for her. I ordered it on Tuesday and, even though my shipping window was as from Friday to the following Wednesday, we received it Thursday night, just 2 days later!!! We opened it up and followed the instructions to putting it together. As soon as we put it down, our Sadie immediately climbed in, started digging out her spot, circled a bunch of times and finally settled down into the plushness. Within 10-minutes she was fast asleep and snoring. Last night was the first time she didn’t cry from being left downstairs while we went to bed upstairs. Before I headed upstairs I draped her favorite blanket on top of her and this morning when I went back downstairs, she was still curled up, under her blanket and snoring as loud as ever. She was so comfortable, she never moved once last night!!! When I woke her up to go to potty and eat her breakfast, she immediately went back to her new bed where I am sure she spend all day. Knowing that she is comfortable has really put my mind at ease as I was feeling so guilty that she couldn’t sleep with us anymore. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone who has an older dog, Sadie definitely gives it 2 paws up!!!

I have a 60 lbs Border Collie with spinal problems in his neck and hips.I hesitated a long time between this bed and the Big Barker bed the reasons why I decided to buy this one are as followsThis bed has bolster on three sidesThe all necessary waterproof liner is includedThis bed cover can be spot cleanedThe price is more reasonableI didn’t even have the time to put the foam in and my dog was already trying to settle in it!As you will see in the attached pictures he fits very comfortably in the bed his neck resting on the bolster. He seems to already be in less pain after only three days! With all the above taken in consideration I highly recommend this bedOn the practical sideIt was well packaged and the instructions made putting the bed together very easyOne point though I recommend putting the liner before the foam expands to much and the cover as well.I hope this review will be helpful in your decision to buy this bed.

My 85lb dog loves his bed! Great quality and the memory foam seems to hold up really well. Spent over 2 months researching for a durable, comfy bed and glad I found this.

The media could not be loaded. Our yellow Labrador Retriever, Zed, is a lounging connoisseur and loves his new PetFusion Ultimate Dog Bed! Here’s a brief video of the unboxing and setup process (it’s a snap), and – of course – some action shots of Zed’s lounging in action. Zed is on the larger size (90lbs) and we’ve observed that if a dog bed doesn’t support him well he’ll migrate elsewhere (like the couch!). As much as I enjoy my 90lb lap-dog, it’s nice to finally find a bed that’s Zed approved – the memory foam really seems to do the trick.

We purchased the Large Brown bed less than a month ago for our two dogs to share and it was the perfect size. For reference, our dogs are full grown at 10-15 lbs each. They both have enough room to sprawl out comfortably and they love it.What I personally love most about this bed is that you can remove each part – the bolster, memory foam base, water-resistant liner (for the base) and the actual cover. This makes washing it a breeze. The fabric cover for the bolster foam isn’t paper-thin like our last dog bed (which ripped). The memory foam base is actually memory foam (not that egg crate material) and has its own separate water-resistant cover which is handy in case of any accidents. And the actual cover seems very durable (our dogs like to scratch at the bed before settling in).We did encounter one very minor snafu. The zipper for the bolster kept snagging initially… I think it was because it was too taut. However, one quick email with pictures to PetFusion and they sent us a replacement cover immediately.I would definitely recommend this bed to other dog owners. It was priced on the higher end of our budget, but its quality is worth it.

I have an 80 lb lab mix who absolutely loves this bed – as soon as I got the foam cushion in and put it on the floor, he trotted right over and laid down.Very simple to put together, I definitely recommend following the suggestion on the directions and putting the foam cushion in right away before it has a chance to fully inflate. The cover fits snug around the cushion and “head rests”, so there is little chance for snagging/tearing on the dog’s nails. As you can see in the picture, my large dog has more than enough room – he is a taller lab mix and still has plenty of room when his legs are fully extended. As with all memory foam pads, there was an odor when it was first opened. I would say the odor dissipated over about 2-3 days and is not noticeable any more.Buddy is 12.5 years old, so he is a napping connoisseur and he fully approves of his new bed.

My pup loves this bed! He is 92 pounds, and I was debating for a few days between the XL and Jumbo size. I read a ton of reviews before buying, so I know how important this is! I went with jumbo and I’m glad I did. It is huge, like some of the reviews said but my dog loves to stretch out when he sleeps and he fills up pretty much all of the jumbo. I think it’s important when you’re deciding on a size to not just think about the weight, but also the length of your dog, his arms/legs and his sleeping style. Does your dog curl up or stretch out? Although my dog doesn’t typically like resting his head on top of a pillow/bolster he loves to have one there to rest it next to. He is 3 yrs, and had a knee injury earlier this year, so I wanted to make sure there was enough room on the platform for him to lay comfortably. Plus, I anticipate him having a doggie roommate/friend sometime in the future, and there’s plenty of room for him and his future BFF to cuddle.Only drawback was trying to get the liner over the memory foam- it was a work out! If it had more zipper all around the liner that would’ve helped. This is a quality bed at a decent price and I 100% recommend it. The memory foam is thick and my dog seems extremely happy with it. He is literally snoring next to me on his new bed as I write this.

These are great dog beds with nice cushioning. I originally purchased a jumbo bed which would have been a perfect size for my two large breed dogs. However, my goldendoodle does not like to be that close to the bernedoodle & would get up & lay elsewhere so we settled on an XL for the larger bernedoodle (80lbs) & a large for the medium goldendoodle (50lbs) so they could each have their own bed. I took several pictures of all sizes for comparison for those of you struggling with which size to buy like I was. I hope they help with your decision. We have been very happy with the quality. I also purchased a waterproof crib sheet to throw over them for easier on/off to wash and to allow the original cover to last longer.

I searched FOREVER & finally found my dog’s dream bed. I bought this to fit in side the ELuxury wood bed frame. This bed in size L (36×28) fits snugly into the M size (36×27) ELuxury frame. I covered this bed w a crib mattress pad (w stretch elastic sides) & a fitted crib sheet – so I could just rip the pad/ fitted sheet off for easy washing. It’s a little “work” changing the sheets, but easier than stripping the cover off & reassembling the bed. Plus the bed / cover will last longer covered – and not being washed so much.Besides the great fit in my bedframe, the memory foam base is dense & soft – exactly what my tripod bull terrier loves to sleep on. The other thing that has worked exceptionally well is the size/ positioning of the bolsters. Not sure what the deal is, but I bought 3 other bolster beds in this exact same size, & the bolsters on those beds all took up much more of the interior space than this bed. This bed has 4 inches more length on the interior than those other beds – which makes a big difference in my dog’s ability to fit comfortably in it. He took to this bed immediately – this photo is 5 minutes after I assembled it & put the sheets on it. The foam expanded immediately – I had to hurry to get it inside the plastic cover before it ‘blew up’.My dog is 55 lbs – size L (36×28) bed is a great fit. He can stretch out if he wants, but most of the time he likes to curl up like a cat when he sleeps. When curled, there is plenty of interior room left inside the bolsters. I bought this bed on Amazon warehouse deals (‘like new’ for $107) – and while expensive, it is superior to the $50 beds I purchased at Home Goods, & even nicer than the beds I looked at at Petsmart – which were $150 – $175. This is a premium quality bed for a decent price.

Very pleased with our purchase. We have a 65 LB German Shorthaired Pointer and he loves this bed. It’s probably his favorite. I debated heavily over which size bed to buy, and went with the large size. It works and he’s not conplaining, but in hindsight he would probably like the smaller one better. Here’s why… Our dog likes to curl up into a ball when he sleeps. He doesn’t sprawl out like other dogs might. With the large bed he usually ends up in a corner because he loves the sides of the bed. The sides are the best part because our dog loves to perch his head and the height is perfect. If your dog sprawls out when he sleeps, I’d get the large. Extra large seems like it would be enormous.Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that the material is great. This bed is not flimsy and has a stable cushion. Other beds we’ve bought seem to lose their shape, but not this one. We’re very pleased and might buy another one for another room. (We like spoiling our dog with many bed options throughout the house). 😊
