I love this, my two (old lady) sister cats love this. They happily “hide” and nap, scratch the carpet in a lazy way, use the leaves (not plastic, yay) to rub their pretty little faces on.I thought about having this for some time, unsure because of mixed reviews over the stability but thought it was SO special and so much edgier than the carpeted varieties (their Armakat carpeted tower had finally gotten too yucky after ten years, a good life span for a cat tree indeed) and there it was. I had someone come to put it together, so excited. Just a few parts, no tools required, oh yay. We arranged the shelves so that the cats can safely step down instead of leaping from the top (old ladies, silly girls) and took the advice of another reviewer, using the longest pole at the base and even with two silly girls cavorting on this, it doesn’t shake.I love the look, a bit humorous and a splash of green. This could be the very best cat tree ever. No leaves have fallen off and they are not being chewed. It looks fab, doesn’t it.

When first arrived, kitty jumped all over it while I was putting it together. But once I got it up, I made such a big deal out of it and tried to get her to play on it that she became disinterested. So I put it in the corner and acted like it was no big deal and she “found it on her own” and decided it was her new favorite hangout – without my coaxing. Now I wake up to find her in it every morning. Here’s a picture of her hanging off the top tier. It’s sturdy enough. Well made, no leaves are falling off. The tier shelves are big enough. Kitty loves the fake grass at the bottom too. She often sleeps there. I had to rotate each tier so that the openings where mis aligned so that kitty could climb up each tier – not sure if that was in the directions or not but that seemed to work best for our cat. My cat is 5 years old, weighs about 11 pounds and this thing is the perfect size for her. It must be set upon a flat floor – no sloping floors, no carpeted areas (in my opinion). It was expensive but because my cat loves it and uses it daily, it was well worth the price. I highly recommend any cat lover give it a try.

My cats love this tree! They love being able to hide behind the leaves and for me, it’s prettier to have this than an regular cat tree, it’s near my dining table where I work each day and I can tell when they’re in it by the rustling of the leaves! I got the square base large tree, it seems very stable, especially with the square base which is very wide, giving added stability. Several commenters said you needed to disassemble it to put the long pole at the bottom but mine came completely unassembled and the instructions said to put the long pole in the base so perhaps the manufacturer has changed the instructions? I can see that putting in some washers and wing nuts just above each platform would also make it more stable – I didn’t do that tho, because my cats are not launching themselves at the top platform or from it (that’s what makes my other cat trees tip), instead they’re climbing into it from my dining table. Some people also commented wanting sisal on the poles but I’d rather not – my cats rip that up pretty quickly and these plastic poles will last longer. They have other sisal scratching posts (which are also cheaper to replace) elsewhere in my house to sharpen their claws. They do also scratch the carpet on each level but so far it’s holding up, I haven’t seen any loose carpet threads anywhere yet.

I bought the 5′ tree w/square base. I usually spend quite a bit of time reading reviews before I buy something. This time, I ordered it because it was on sale for $108 and I later started reading some negative reviews. I was having nightmare images of running to the hardware store trying to make this thing stable or just to make it work at all. People complaining about the return policy, used parts, no instructions, yadda, yadda… I actually got freaked out enough to try to cancel the order but it was too late. I was hoping for the best and I wasn’t disappointed. It arrived in a heavy box, was well packaged, parts were labeled and none of it appeared to have been used before. I planned on assembling it while viewing the assembly video included in the listing on Amazon but it wasn’t needed. There were paper instructions included which I have taken pictures of and posted here. The only thing I struggled with at all when assembling this tree was getting the branches into the little plastic clips that they fit into. It’s a tight fit. The branches are bendable and can be arranged in whatever configuration pleases you. I had to remove a couple so my cat could figure out how to get from one level to the other instead of crashing through the branches in random places lol. As for stability, I find it to be extremely stable and I didn’t need any tools to assemble it, so hand tightening the parts is quite sufficient. I’m very pleased with it and so is my boy.

First of all, expect a huge box at your doorstep! It’s not that heavy but it’s big!!I liked the minimal packaging, there’s little to no plastic nor styrofoam, etc.I was a bit confused when assembling the tree but I got it after a while.I have two cats. Pan (yes that’s my cats name) is the outgoing and curious type of cat but this time around Pan sniffed the tree and was hesitating on climbing it. Pan eventually did start playing on the tree after I added a few toys. My other cat, Hanta, is the shy, timid type of cat. But this time as soon as she saw the tree she climbed on the first level.Overall both cats like it. I hear the leaves rustle or hear the toys squeak/ ring. Keeps them active during the day and they sleep at night so no more midnight crazy cat time.Lastly, I got this cat tree (that looks like a tree) because I did not want something that immediately said “I’m a cat lady”, I lean more towards classic and modest looking pieces in my house. This fits in well. It’s very aesthetically pleasing to my eyes and doesn’t look “tacky”. I also like how I can replace the leaves. I plan on replacing them in the future with cherry blossom petals. I also plan on adding real grass at the bottom with Shark tanks real grass doggie pads.

Assembly was easy, and the packaging was nice. The materials are as what cat condos are made from, would be nicer to user a stronger material as over tightening will damage it.When the assholes jump from the tree it tends to loosen it a bit, so minor upkeep required. The leaves are made of material much like sheer curtains, so I noticed they chew more on that now, leaving minor holes in the leaves but tearing and eating none. And when a leaf falls, I set them aside to reglue at a later date. The branches get bent when they are playing Safari, but easy to fix. Looks nice, like a plant that needs no watering.I have a skittish rescue, who after some nip and time, opens up and enjoys the tree. Bats at your finger and really enjoys play time. Stands sturdy(purchased the square bottom) so it won’t topple.Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to appease their Masters and Overlords. As we all know, Dogs have Companions, and Cats have servants…Ope, I hear scratching, I must attend to my Master.

I purchased the three tier tree with the square base. I’m not sure if the product has changed since some of the reviewers purchased it, but I put it together according to the instructions with no extra odds and ends and it’s solid as a rock. I did use a pair of pliers and a small wrench to tighten the threaded bolts and the connectors as needed. My cats are really enjoying it so far. I think they feel hidden behind the leaves. The tree also looks good and doesn’t take up the whole living room. My cats would probably love it even more if the trunk we’re sisal, but I’m glad it’s smooth plastic because I suspect it won’t be torn up and ratty looking as quickly. The cats have lots of room to lay and play on it without having the tree take up a ton of space. It’s an all around win for my house!

The media could not be loaded. I love this cat tree. My friends who have cats are pretty jealous of it whenever they come over. It is way more aesthetic than the cat trees that have the carpet all over it. It blends in with my apartment since I have a lot of plants around. It adds a nice greenery. I also decorated it with a little silver garland for the holidays. Honestly my cat hates everything so this is really great. It took about 2 weeks for her to go in it by herself. I put a bunch of treats in the tree and would just put her in the tree to get her used to it. She eventually would go in it by herself when I wasn’t in the room because the treats were gone. Now when she gets the cat crazies, wants to snooze, or do a little begging for treats she will sit in her tree. It’s great and I’m glad she can have a place for herself!

The media could not be loaded. Super easy to assemble. Very sturdy and can handle a 20 lb cat flying from the couch to the top; it doesn’t sway or topple over. Leaves are sturdy, but expect some to fall off over time. We purchased this in Jan-2021 and I waited over a year to write this review, so I could share an honest feedback.

The media could not be loaded. Our 10 cats love this tree. Excuse the mess, we are decorating this room for them. We are planning on getting two more of this size tree. The only thing we dislike about the tree is the leaves aren’t very strong. We plan on replacing them with leaves from the hobby store once they have pulled all the leaves off. They are secured with holes drilled in the wood. It will be easy to remove those and put more in. It’s a wonderful height, and our babies love zooming up and down. I would like the “trunk” to be sisal.. but that is also easily remedied as well.
