So I have a rat terrier that basically gutted poor lambchop, he was more excited than ever when I took lambchop out of the box and lunged right for him. Doc (the dog) went to town , however it did take Doc longer than normal to rip into this toy and it too him about two days to get the squeaker out of the head/neck after he did that he was over it. However each foot has a squeaker and the chihuahua has spent lo longer than I can handle with the filthy rag that was once lambchop, trying to get the squeakers out of the feet. She also really loves the toy, even sleeping with it …so overall the dogs love it even if I wanted it to last a little longer

The media could not be loaded.  Our dog got his first lamb chop as a gift and, given its FIVE squeakers, it was his absolute favorite toy! His favorite past time is ripping stuffing and squeakers out of soft toys, which he did successfully after about 1-2 weeks with this toy, and then continued to play with its mangled, empty shell for several more weeks to come until it was literally nothing but pieces. He is a large dog and a very heavy chewer so we typically don’t expect soft toys to withstand long, and luckily he is smart enough not to eat the filling. I decided to buy him another lamb chop given how much he loved his first one, and as you can see he is elated!! As his chewing escalates I imagine this one will also only last a few weeks as well, but $5 is worth it to keep him entertained for hours! So, good if your dog likes squeaker toys, but beware it will not withstand a heavy chewer.

This is my dog’s favorite toy. She plays with it, sleeps with it, and unfortunately, disembowels it. But continues to carry around the destuffed, desqueakered carcass of poor Lambchop. So every time I have an Amazon order, I add one of these on so Sunny can continue to have a fresh “lammie” toy. She has three so far, in various stages of decay, and eventually will have quite the collection. She still carries her first one, which has been reduced to hole riddled fabric and nothing else, to bed with her each night, and covers it up in her blanket.

I brought Lambchop for my dog 9 years ago when he was a puppy as another toy to add to his collection. However, he took to it so much, when ever he needed comfort he grabs his lambchop toy. He sleeps with it every night. With washing and play time I have brought a total of 4 Lambchops, not because they were broken or torn but because he loves this toy so much, we give him a new one to break in and swap them up when they get slobbered and need to be washed (that way he wont miss a moment with out his precious lambchop LOL). I have a rat terrier and they tear up everything, but for some reason, he loves his lamby girl and doesnt tear into this toy. You wont be disappointed, even after multiple wash and drys still holding up, she looks worn but still good :-)

This is Nellie’s favorite toy.She got a new Lamb Chops on Christmas day and it’s become her “go-to tug-of-war and catch and wrestle around with toy”.We got one in July of 2021 (at a retail story for about twice the price as on Amazon) to replace an even earlier one she had. Pictures are posted of the second one – all torn up now – it’s been six months and bit by bit, first the fluff, then the hind-ends and she got to most of the squeakers – but it took a long time! So many other toys, the way we play, just don’t hold up. Lamb Chops holds up remarkably well. However, the day after Christmas I was cleaning up fluff stuffing! Hah ha. Note last picture, ma sewing up the hole! But after the stuffing removal, we’ve been putting it through a work-out. The old one, it took about six months to get it into the condition as shown in the three pictures of old lambie above, and it’s still – well, was – the go-to. Now that Nellie has a new one – (and now that the fluff is out) – we can really play with it!I mean to say, we play tug-of war seriously – she puts her whole bodyweight into the tugs, and so far, none of the lambies have ever separated. You know chewed up at the ends and sides a bit, but the body, from head to toe, has never pulled apart. Before she had “official dog toys” we used old socks and washcloths, but she could rip those up too easily tugging the way she likes to.This lambie dude is a tough character – no fluff about it – especially after the first day or two! But in my doggie playing opinion it’s as good with or without. It is tough, it provides our dog with a fun toy to play with, and as a by-product, I get some good muscle work and exercise in too!And we have a lot of fun when it’s play time! (Which seems to be hmm, morning, bout noon, hmm, early afternoon, early evening, hmm just before dinner, hmm, just after dinner – – before and after the walk – – – oh boy, now that I’ve thought about it!)Anyway, I would recommend Lamb Chops as a pretty good choice for a canine play toy. Maybe even a little kid – hah ha! Well, aren’t dogs like little kids in a way? I mean to say, even me, I really enjoy playing with our dog, and we really needed a good toy. This fit the bill perfectly!Hope you’ve got someone to play with!

The softness of this toy with the many squeakers makes this a toy dogs ADORE. That perfect toy mix of softness and squeaky fun makes dogs OBSESSED and sooo HAPPY with this toy, leading to its quick and inevitable demise. Anyone who loves their dog should buy them this you. I’ve never seen any dog love a toy more than dogs love this toy. People who complain about its “durability” just aren’t paying attention to how much their fur baby loves this toy and therfore clearly don’t love their dogs enough and should maybe go buy a gold fish or a pet rock instead. This toy has officially replaced man as dog’s best friend because dogs love this toy more than anything on God’s beautiful earth. Whoever invented this is the Bible writer of dog toys.

My dog absolutely adores this toy. This is my second time purchasing it. The first time was at CVS and the second time here on amazon. It is a well made stuffed animal, however it is still a stuffed animal being attacked by a hyper little predator. So in a few months she tears in to them. Poor lamb chop is looking like the joker with the patch job I just tried. But it’s her favorite toy and she’s been sad the past few days I haven’t let her play with it while I located my needle and thread. So I’ll keep patching it up until I just need to buy a new one. I do recommend it, but maybe be especially wary of you have a particularly destructive dog, as much as I joke she is aggressive, my dog is relatively careful with her toys hence why they can last months versus weeks like some other dogs. Though my puppy is barely a year old for reference. Regardless she loves this toy and how much it squeaks, wether I’m in a zoom meeting or not. So I will be repurchasing.

I bought the 6” variety for my guinea pig a while back and either lost it or it got destroyed in the wash. Honestly didn’t pay attention to the fact that I reordered in the 10” variety, but … holy carp does she love her Lambchop! She was snuggling up to it and grooming her new baby and happy as pie. Not sure how it would hold up to a dog’s chewing, but the guinea pig doesn’t tear at things in her cage so we are good! It’s a super cute toy.

Firstly, we’re on about our fourth ‘Lamby’. No fault of our sweet terrier mix – The minute Lamby is brought ‘Back To Life’, i.e., bought again, we play keep away from the Lab. With three dogs, the third being a Pit Rescue who thankfully is only interested in hard toys, it can get ‘Interesting’ when it’s New Toy Day.Lamby has been, hands down, the favorite and most loved by our middle child. She never eats him, only squeaks him all day. And even she has been known to Kill a toy every now and then. Not Lamby. Never. She protects him like a child, going so far as to jump into Daddy’s protective arms whenever Lamby is threatened.Lamby is her baby, and we all know what we will do to protect our children 😂 And thank goodness for good Daddy’s who will help save Lamby at all costs.Just want to add since canines + eating soft things can equal disaster, make sure to cut all tags, loops, etc., on dog toys. LambChop has a neck loop we always cut off, as well as those annoying ‘White Tags’ on everything you buy. We lost a sweet girl to an intestinal blockage years ago. Pretty much freaks about what our kids swallow now, obviously. And with any type of toy, especially soft, there’s that much more reason to worry/supervise. Don’t want anyone to ever have to go through the heartache and guilt we did ❤️

Lambchop is the only toy my Maltipoo loves, and loves to tear apart. Within 30 minutes, Sugar has silenced the lamb by gnawing off the face. I just shove the stuffing back in it, sew it up and the lamb is ready for another attack. I buy them in bulk because killer reduces them to pulp within a month. That’s OK. Being a dog can be boring. Sacrificing these lambs is her greatest enjoyment in life, after belly rubs. Warning: There are five plastic squeakers inside the lamb, which are easily removed by my eight pound mass murderer. I wouldn’t leave her unattended when she’s playing with lambchop.
