The media could not be loaded. We have a 3 year old great pyrenees who we got from someone a year or so ago. He is not only a wanderer, but being raised hands off, when he met our neighbors with young boys who scratched on him all the time, he kinda decided he likes them better. We have asked them to shoo him back over here. We live in the country, it is not as if they live close by. We cannot even see their house. So now, my husband says I am bribing the dog. I said … YES, I am. The neighbors don’t feed him so I have at least one thing up on them. He comes home for dinner and if he comes home at others times, I give him these Milk Bones as treats. We are starting to win the battle. I would just throw my hands up at get rid of him all together, but he keeps the coyotes away for everyone.Anyway … good price and value. Better then local grocery store prices. Ample sized box could last 1-3 months for us. Arrived super quick. Good size for big dogs like Toby the Great Pyrenees. They are 4″ long x 1-1.5″ wide.Would purchase again.

We adopted Stella in Nov. Our Boston Terrier + Chiweenie both needed being put down in Oct. Our Boston Bull had cancer, that we’d known was needed. Our Chiweenie had nasty teeth + breath + needed over $2,000 was too old to get his oral surgery + @ that age, had him put down also.2 wks later we adopted Stella. 60lbs + a challenge. Her teeth are perfectly white though. She’d spent 11 months in the shelter. She was instantly Mama’s little girl @ 6 yrs old. Our 2 put down were very yippy. Stella doesn’t make a noise. Only one bark as a warning. She also knows when we order pizza, giving us her one, warning bark. We loveWe didn’t know about needed oral care other than give her soft treats + human food. Now we know better, buying expensive grocery store treats + our, human food. Now Stella has the whitest teeth. Besides feeding her Milk Bones + every treat now is good for her.But what really whiteness her teeth was a dog water additive. One capfull per pint of water. We actually found her teeth getting whiter almost immediately. She’s spoiled crazy here. Lots of toys, love + treats. She doesn’t like other dogs so knew she’d need $3000 fencing ASAP.She loves her new yard + us. We were told no 2nd dog with her. She’s great with humans but will bite any other dog.(BAD doggie.)I’m 65 + love her to pieces. Gr8 for protection + loveThe hubby works nites + we’d had a portrait stolen from our porch. Now instead of a real dog’s barking, had our 2 Yippers. At 3am, the thieves actually shined their flash light through our front door @ the 3 of us.They must’ve been ticked off upon opening the box, finding only a measly pic. of me as a teen showing Dancer, my Tennessee Walking horse. With Stella, I think they would’ve left w/o my pic. of Dancer + me. Her bark can be intimidating + even our 2 Yippers, didn’t make a sound back then. They were scared too.She loves every treat offered to her. I remember eating a Milk Bone when I was 4-5 yrs. We bought Stella the lg sz + she loves EVERYTHING!!

We have 5 rescue dogs that we have had for a few years now and will do about anything you ask for one of these “cookies”. Shopping for treats for 3 100 pound dogs and 2 Sixty pounders can be expensive but we buy 2 boxes a month of these and dogs never do without. Great pricing for what you get. Also keeps their teeth very clean. Have 1 dobie who has trouble with his teeth and this have helped him tremendously. Good product for you and doggie, neither of you will be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. 10 lb package of Milk Bones was stolen by this Pooch Pirate 5 minutes after Amazon delivery. Our security camera caught the culprit in action! Fortunately he left the other packages.

My dog and I used to love milk bones until this last, recent order. She’s a chocolate Labrador and never denies a milk bone. I wonder if the recipe has been changed or the texture? Anyways, they’re harder to break apart than they used to be. We’ve been getting milkbones for about 10 years now. We recently switched over to kirklands lamb & chicken bones. They felt less like brick and cardboard. I’m not sure what happened to milkbones – maybe I just had a box that wasn’t sealed or was sitting out for a long time? Anywho, I ended up having to give them to a friend whose dog rarely gets treats so I guess it was a win-win situation. I’ll probably order medium sized milkbones this time and see how it works out! Still recommend these though, if you don’t brush your pups teeth, these will do that for you!

My 110 lb dog loves these! I used to buy the higher priced named brand toothbrush type treats for him but he crunched them up immediately and there was no time for them to help clean his teeth. With the large Milk-Bone treats, he actually takes a minute or two to crunch them up, so at least I know he’s tasting them. I love the 10 pound box as there is an ample supply on hand and they are much cheaper in the larger container. I’m happy and so is my dog. I’ll keep buying them as long as we’re both happy. I am very sensitive what I buy for our fur babies, they mean the world to me. I have tried the Costco version, but find that they tend to give our border collies diarrhea, so I am only going to give them these Milk Bones in the future. Our vet said that these biscuits are a good treat, that not only makes our dogs happy, it actually helps to keep down the tartar on their teeth, and have some vitamins as well. I feed them a Milk Bone after their dinner to help clean their teeth. Our dogs weigh between 43 to 47 pounds and I buy the large size of Milk Bones. I have this order under subscribe and save every 2 months so that I don’t run out.I hope that you have found my opinion and images to be helpful with your decision process to purchase this item. We buy a box of these every month or so, our big dogs love them! They know they’re supposed to sit before they get a treat so every morning they’ll be sitting in the kitchen with big goofy grins on their faces waiting for their bones while I grab a cup of coffee. These bones are crunchy and seem to help with keeping our dogs teeth nice and clean, breath not so much. There isn’t any liner inside of the box, it’s just the bones inside of the box taped shut so we usually just transfer the bones into gallon baggies for garage refrigerator storage then fill a treat container for the house as needed. Breakage during shipping isn’t that bad, the dogs love the broken ones just as much as the non broken. When they hear the treat container our two house ponies come running!

So – it’s hard to say i know what these things taste like – cause, I’m not eating milkbones, my dog is. BUT they must taste good, cause my dog understands the “treat” concept of this. And she will happily beg, do tricks, and follow you for one of these. Also – a long time ago I use to depend on these as supplements to cleaning my dog’s teeth. Please learn to brush your dog’s teeth with these as they were advertised to clean teeth. They still stick in the flaps of your dog’s mouth… so please brush in conjunction with assuming this is doing its cleaning. My dog’s breath isn’t that bad after eating this – so the breath freshening may be taking place.

First, please know that my dog loves Milk Bones and I love Amazon! That is why I gave this review 5 stars overall. The problem is that when I opened this particular box, it was full of tiny little ants. Since I brought the product inside as soon as it was delivered, I can only assume the ants got in the box during transit. But do not despair! The solution is to ask Amazon to ship Milk Bones in an Amazon box, which they will do at no additional cost. The Amazon shipping boxes are sealed in a more secure manner than shipping in the Milk Bones box only. I have ordered Milk Bones many times before and they were shipped in Amazon boxes. This is the first time I have seen ants in an Amazon delivered product. I also tossed the product since I did not want to take ants to the UPS store for an Amazon return.
