I have always loved the ease of using the Magic Bullet, especially the way you can shake it to keep it going, but was concerned over the plastic being transferred into my food, since I noticed that near the blades, that part of the plastic starts to shear off over time. Also, the last one I had seemed to not go downhill quickly. So, I tried to purchase an all glass and metal one smaller one that seemed like a good idea, but definitely did not work well in so many ways. Then, I found this attachment that was a genius idea made by this company that uses an all metal housing, some type of ice chopping blender blades that sound a bit different but work extremely well and I find much quieter overall. I had not issues with compatibility, so I highly recommend getting this extra very inexpensive, but high quality attachment you can find at this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078WYNWKP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Now, I am one happy Magic Bullet user!

We use this every day for protein shakes! I add frozen bananas (1/2), frozen berries, or ice to thicken up my shakes and it blends them perfectly! ….absolutely no frozen chunks left! The base is easy to wipe clean, but if you don’t overfill and you put the blade on correctly, nothing will get on the base. The container is dishwasher (top) safe. The blade is handwash only. Helpful hint: When I’m finished using the bullet, I rinse the blade and container. I add a drop of dishwashing liquid and water in the container and put on the blade. I put the blade on the base like I was mixing a shake. It cleans the blade this way! Then I just rinse and dry. :)

I have now purchased 3 of these. 1 for me to use for single serve nutrition shakes. Then gave one to my Mom for same purpose, now my husband loves it and takes it with him on business trips to make shakes on the road instead of unhealthy snacks. I’ve also started using it to grind coffee beans in the morning. It works as good, as my old burr grinder with a lot less noise. I like to add crushed ice and water for my shakes and this little blender does a nice job in about 1 minute. The rounded bullet shape keeps powder mixes from staying clumped in the top. Tip, put ice, water or liquid in first, then add your mix, tighten lid fairly tight, hand shake a couple seconds THEN put on the motor base and blend. don’t waste big bucks on the “fancier” versions… it’s wasted money. this one works great.

Bought this to replace my previous one, which lasted about 10 years used an average of twice per day. The prior one was a little on the loud side, this new one is very quiet. I only use it to make protein smoothies, which it does a great job of and is easy to use and clean. Never tried it for other items, but see no reason why it would not work well for them. I’ve read some complaints about not chopping ice well, I don’t know what they mean because for me it does an excellent job on ice. I’ve also noticed a reviewer complaining about it being lighter with more plastic than before, however, I see that as a good thing. For only $40, it is perfect for what I need.

Great product. This is the second one I’ve owned and it beats any blender or smoothie maker. Sometimes, it stops working. You just have to unplug it and give it a few hours or a day to recover; it’ll always work again after a little bit of time.Just don’t put fresh kale in it. For some reason, it can’t handle the toughness of the leaves and it will shut down.

Haven’t had any of the issues mentioned in the other reviews, like rusting or trouble blending certain materials. I will echo all of the reviews that emphasize not over-filling. I have had only one leak, and it was due to my own over-filling of the cup. The best order to put ingredients into the blender is as follows: liquids, heavy/large/dense items (frozen bananas, etc.), medium weight/density items (frozen or fresh blueberries, strawberries), powders, lightest weight items (kale, spinach, mint, etc.). Putting powder or lightweight items in the bottom of the cup makes it harder for the blender to get at them. Following this order, and not over-filling, I have had zero leaks, and have never had to remove and shake the cup in order to get everything to blend. Normal blend time is about 10 seconds. Avoid putting ice in the unit (but frozen fruit is ok). To avoid any issues with rust or sticky stuff getting stuck in hard to clean places, I usually dry the base upside-down after each use. I also rinse the cup and blender attachment immediately after each use (and dry them). Clean up is incredibly easy, I rarely need to use soap or a sponge, everything usually rinses right off.

I have owned 3 bullet blenders, this one replaces one I left at my old house with my roommate. They last SO LONG!!My professional chef fiance is impressed with the power, and it sits on our counter easily and we are really short on space in a Tiny House.Gone are any excuses for no breakfast. I blend us each a protein shake and the cleanup is a dream! I do not like cooking or doing dishes. I wish I could make every meal in this!!I used to have a job I had to pack lunch, and I used the screw-on lid daily, made my power smoothie and packed it in my lunch box every day.Honestly this is the most important item in my kitchen.

I had a Nutri Bullet that all of a sudden stopped working so I purchased this as an inexpensive replacement.- if you are expecting a Nutri Bullet, this is not an exact replacement! It is much smaller and clearly not as strong of a motor- if you are looking for an inexpensive blender to make smoothies or shakes, this will be perfect- it can blend a few ice cubes with, say, a banana, some PB, and milk, pretty easily. Any more than that and I could see the motor dying quicklyOther than that, I say it’s worth what you pay and it’s a great small blender for making smoothies

Blenders are nice but bullets are just more efficient and more functional for those who love to make sauces, ground coffee beans, shakes and smoothies. Blenders are good for large scale smoothie shops or for large families, but for single people or small families, the magic bullet is the most versatile investment you can get.Note: you may have to change blades every 2 years or so depending how heavily you use this thing. Do not pulse more than 30 seconds to 1 min b/c the base will get hot. You want to keep things EASY to pulse b/c it’s no blender. The motion inside the fluid is pretty good. The only bad thing is that if you pack your cup a little too tightly with fruits, the top part might not move downward to blend enough so you have to take it off the base and shake it up before putting it back on the base.Manual provides recipes to get you going a to how a bullet can work for different cuisinesCleans easily but make sure you clean immediately after use so that the cracks don’t fill up with dried stuff and then it looks gross afterawhile.

Buy it. That’s all I have to say, but this a review after all so let me tell you why.1. It’s powerful: grinds ice like butter and evenly mixes ingredients in seconds.2. No mess: the cleaning process is very simple. The cup secures tightly to the blender piece to keep any ingredients from escaping while in use. After you’re done, simply unscrew and wash both pieces or put them in the dishwasher. The bottom half does not get dirt whatsoever.3. Using this as a bachelor, the size is perfect. I can make one full serving easily whether for the day or preparing a smoothie for the next morning. However! If you are buying this for a family or serving drinks at a party, it will likely be too small. This doesn’t bother me at all, but keep it in mind. This is my first blender and wow it was worth it. For less than $35, this is the highest quality blender you can buy for the price.
