These are great speakers. Crisp, rich, detailed sound. Aimable tweeter. I have a 7.1 system consisting of 7 of these and a 10″ Klipsch wireless sub. This system replaced my traditional B&W home theater system. If you are wondering how an all-ceiling home theater system sounds with these speakers, well, in a word: terrific. I am not missing my old system, and the in-ceiling setup is sleek and unobtrusive. These are high-end top-notch speakers that reflect Klipsch’s deep experience with in-ceiling speakers. As soon as you open the box, you know you are dealing with a quality product. Easy to install, virtually invisible when installed. Crisp, detailed, nuanced sound. Expensive, yes. But worth it. HIghly recommended.

These aren’t going to be huge in your face speakers. I’m using them for an Atmos setup and they are working perfectly. I have an attic above my room and I put the formed shipping material over top them to keep insulation off of them.
Amazon Customer –
I researched the quality of these speakers and all ratings were excellent. So it came down to price. The price I got from an Amazon vendor was almost too low to believe. The speakers came in new unopened boxes. No issues found. However installation was another story. The dimensions of the speakers were as advertised. But the ceiling opening for the speakers I was replacing were one quarter inch smaller. That made for a lot of work. Bottom line: if you are replacing speakers make sure the openings and existing brackets, if any, are correctly sized to accept the new speakers. Have fun!

I’ve enjoyed higher-end audio equipment for many years and I’ve been astonished as sound quality consistently goes up while prices seem to slide slowly downward. But I was skeptical about these Klipsch speakers at this unbelievable price. When I decided to make a holiday project of getting my audio gear humming again in my new home, ceiling speakers were something to seriously consider.A few weeks into the planning, I pulled the trigger. Given the cost/sound/room/use considerations, I couldn’t be happier. Clear sound, good staging, great dynamics and perfect for my 12 x15 room.

I had Boston Acoustic ceiling speakers in my old house (which were more expensive than this) but was never thrilled with the sound. I didn’t have very high expectations for these speakers, but once installed, I was quite impressed. I’ve got them installed in the ceiling in my Tiki Bar, and Martin Denny has never sounded so good. I did add an in-ceiling sub woofer for a fuller sound (I would recommend you do the same if actually listening to music as opposed to using them for background sound) but it’s not absolutely necessary. I would buy again.

Need we say more. They are Klipsch speakers. Maybe not the best out there but they are great Atmos speakers to put in the ceiling. The ability to angle the woofer and the tweeter toward the seating position is awesome. I plan to replace my other 2 Atmos speakers with these in the near future also.

I installed 4 of these for an Atmos 5.1.4 configuration and they sound excellent. The tweeters are directional which only enhances the 3D sound effect from atmos.

I put these side-by-side next to the top-of-the-line Polk speakers, and these blew the Polk out of the water.

These are awesome. The bezel is almost completely nonexistent, they can get loud, and I don’t find them to be an eyesore. You should plan on having a subwoofer if your goal is music, but they do produce some bass. Overall great size, look, and quality. Oh yeah, installation is a breeze. Leave yourself some extra wire and you are good to go. The holes can be cut to error of about a quarter inch, so you just need to do you best and you’ll be fine.

I installed a Marantz 11.2 surround system in a new home theatre. The customer went over budget on the AVR and wanted to go softer on ceiling mount speakers. The room is smaller at 12′ x13′. I was looking for the best reproduction quality for the budget. The Klipsch CDT-5650-C II was really value-priced on Prime day. So I bought 4 for the upper-tier sound. So far, so good. Nice Performance. Plays well with other speakers.
