The Texas winters are not long but definitely cold. I started feeding the wild birds when they would come to my window looking for something to eat. I really enjoy the cardinals and all sorts of other birds that stop by for a refreshment. This product turned out to be a real hit. Best part, zero waste. Whatever falls to the ground they end up eating. Will definitely be reordering.

This bird food looks so yummy I wanted to eat it myself!!First, it has a nice cherry scent and slight cherry flavor (yeah, so I tried one of the cashew nuts). I’m not sure if the animals care about this but it makes it seem nicer.Second, no cheap stuff in this blend. It was chocked full of nuts, sunflower seeds, corn, dried fruit, etc. That’s why it is a bit pricey.Third, no waste! This was important to me because I have the feeder in an area where sunflower seed hulls dropped everywhere became a nuisance. Now the foods that drop just get picked up by ground feeders. The only down side I see is that this food is a gourmet meal for chipmunks and squirrels. I love the little critters and enjoy watching the occasional visitor chow down, so I was fine with buying food that would please a variety of birds and other animals and placing the feeder in a space that is accessible to all. However, if you are overrun with rodents and/or don’t want them near your bird feeder, this might not be the best choice unless you can figure out an effective way to block their access to the feeder. I expect they will work really hard for a feeder full of shelled nuts and seeds!!!

This is the perfect seed for no worry bird feeding. I’ve had other seed that sprouts after it’s been on the ground. The hull less seed has attracted a large variety of birds and my lawn still looks great. Excellent value and amazing results !

If I could get safflower seed at our local Fleet Farm, it would be less expensive. However, since I am unable to get to the other stores right now this is a good option. The quality seems good and finches, chickadees, and cardinals readily eat it. Since some of the birds flick it out of the feeder, the chipmunks get a little too.

A clean debris free bird seed. It’s a favorite meal for many of my backyard beauties. I love feeding the birds and have been a bird/nature lover all my life. I always sprinkle some around and under my feeders to enjoy the chipmunk cuties too. I tolerate the squirrels in order to attract the other wildlife. I must say though, the squirrels are quite entertaining! This is a clean, waste free product just as it says.

We live in northwest NJ have a bird feed right outside one of our kitchen windows. Last year I picked up seed at a local farm and we got a lot of sparrows but the seed left a mess from the hulls that I had togo and regularly clear out of the feeding tray. Anyhow it’s time to buy more seed and I saw this mess free seed! So I ordered it and filled out feeder.Well not only is is mess free but we have a male and female cardinal that hangout all the time now. We have also see a downy wood pecker, blue jay, tufted tit mouse, European starling, gray cat bird, and northern mocking bird! I’m hoping the cardinals are building a nest in out of the trees outside the windows. If you have a bird feeder and want to attract a variety of birds this is the one!

The only way I can keep squirrels from munching on my garden is to bribe them, otherwise they will literally eat the stems off my tomato plants. I was using regular bird seed which included unshelled sunflower seeds but the shells were making a total mess. I moved to this stuff and dear lord! The squirrels now yell at me if I’m too late feeding them. They’re awfully cute though, and a native species that is getting pushed out of the area – so every morning at 7am they get their little thimbleful of crack. Everybody’s happy, including the birds that it’s actually meant for, lol.

The birds absolutely love this birdfood! I’ve used several different brands before using this, and normally they would empty the feeder in about 1-2 weeks. But with this food, they go through it in 4-5 days. The only downside is at the rate they eat this, it’s a lot more expensive. We have finches, cardinals, bluejays, starlings, and pigeons and doves eat what falls to the ground. The squirrels like it too, and I chase them away from time to time. But that’s always been the case.I’ve purchased 7 bags so far, and had no issues with Kaylee’s quality control. The seal worked good on every bag so far. Also, I’ve had no lumps of food as reported in a review. The food has always been fresh. My only downside is the birds love this food too much, but being an animal empath, I’m happy when they’re happy.

Our birds loved this seed! They ate every single piece of it. It smells amazing when you open it! Would definitely buy again. Wish they offered a larger bag at a reasonable price. But all bird seed is expensive anymore sadly…

Wow, this smells so good, if times get hard, we’ll be eating this! My hubby was like, let me try some…LOL Birds are grateful and we can’t find this close to home so thanks for reasonable pricing and such quick delivery, and great packaging. Chirp Chirp!
