I have absolutely no idea why this product hasn’t been hyped more or why I’ve never heard anyone else talk about it. The support for it is nonexistent, however, the product itself has been an amazing buy for our kitchen. I have made personal pizzas in 10 mins in this (4-5 mins per pizza; thin crusts), a whole 5.04 lb rotisserie chicken that came out with deliciously crispy skin in 1 hr, and I make these air fried asparagus in about 14 mins. Every frozen snack you have ever tried before will be three times better made in the Instant Omni Pro. My family loves making gyoza and pizza rolls in it. Everything is crispy and fresh tasting instead of squishy like baking them in a regular oven or, worse yet, a microwave would do. The only thing I don’t recommend so far is a frozen burrito. Those should be soft, not crispy. I could keep going but honestly I had so many doubts and hemmed and hawed about buying this based on the ONE available review at the time. I’m SO happy I took the leap of faith because I have not been disappointed!!!! It’s worth the money!

My first air fryer was a small Gourmia. It was fine, but it didn’t have much capacity. Worse yet, the pan had vents in it that kept it from holding soapy water during cleaning. So I bought a second Gourmia that had more capacity and a pan that would hold soapy water for cleaning.I’ve been using my air fryers for scallops, lobster tail, sausage links, hamburger patties and anything previously barbecued. It’s quick, easy to clean, and if it isn’t quite as good a the barbecue, that’s more than offset by the convenience. It’s also great for re-heating a slice of pizza — much better than a microwave or a toaster oven.I came across the Instant Vortex Air Fryer at Best Buy while waiting for a new car radio to be installed. I wasn’t dissatisfied with the Gourmia, but because I use an air fryer so often, I thought it would be worth buying even if it was only slightly better.Simply put, I love this thing. As another review pointed out, it has two cooking trays that can be used on three levels, and it cooks a lot hotter/faster on the top level than on the bottom. The other reviewer was apparently disappointed, but I view this as a feature. Today I cooked sausage patties on the top level, and they came out very dark and well done but without being burned. They’d have cooked fine on the bottom level, but they wouldn’t have been as dark and might have been dryer.I’ve always air-fried scallops on a tray, and they’ve always come out brown on the top and bottom just as you’d get from a barbecue. But just for curiosity I air-fried a batch in the rotating basket (lightly sprayed with canola oi), and they came out golden brown all over as if they’d been deep fried. They didn’t taste better, but they looked more elegant. In summary, I like this Instant Vortex air fryer and see it as an improvement over the two Gourmia models. It’s very easy to use and easy to clean, with features enough better to justify the higher price .

I’ve only had this for a few days but I’m really impressed already. The unit itself is a very expensive and the quality of it is in line with that. But overall I’m quite impressed with the way that it’s cooking french fries, boiling cheese on top of nachos, and I look forward to you using it a lot more. The door feels a little bit flimsy which is the only criticism I really have of it. But it’s not like a $500 unit so to expect it to be super sturdy is unrealistic. I’ve seen reviews to talk about it being really loud, But that isn’t my experience. Also some people talk about a chemical smell while it’s cooking, and I did smell that the first time I used it, but I did run the initial test of the unit as instructed by the manufacturer which involves running the oven without any food inside,And after that I haven’t smelt the smell again.

I received this air fryer a year ago for Christmas. I was replacing a GoWise one with a traditional basket that started rusting out after a few months. This air fryer is a dream! After reading reviews on the smell I ran it for an hour a day for 2 or 3 days. Stunk up the whole kitchen, but after that the smell vanished.I use this thing almost every day! I’ve even taught my kids how to use it. The trays are so much easier to clean that the basket style air fryers. You can even take the door off to clean it if it gets grimy. The French fry basket isn’t very convenient to open after cooking, but the fries taste so much better than when I cook them in the oven so it’s totally worth it. I cook steak, hamburgers, pork chops, chicken breasts, bacon, chicken nuggets, French fries, and even fried Oreos in this bad boy. After seeing mine at work my sister bought one for herself and loves it just as much. Ignore the people gave it bad reviews for the initial smell, a short cord, or the display being on when it’s plugged in. Good grief. I use this more than my oven, it was worth every penny my husband spent after I begged him to buy me this!

I bought this when my Krups toaster oven died. This unit does a lot more than I am accustomed to. I read so many reviews on many different ovens before I selected this one. They all seem to have their hitches so be aware of what you are buying.Let me start this review with I would suggest this oven to a friend. -Keeping that in mind the 1st thing to be aware of is that this only has a 29 inch cord that comes from the lower right side in the back. *You are told in the manual not to use any serge protectors or extension cords. That information is very important for placement in the kitchen. -Also, the oven gets very hot so the directions caution you to have at least 5″ clearance around the oven at all times. I put mine in the corner of the counter and pull it forward when I am using it. It seems to get the hottest in back. -The manual says it should be unplugged when not in use. -When you set the temperature and start the oven it preheats. *There is a Very soft ding then the trimmer immediately starts the cook process. If you get your food in late, you are able to adjust the cook time. The timer will pause when the oven is opened. When cooking is complete the oven kicks down to warm. -There is a blower with two speeds. High speed is for air frying. I haven’t used it for that yet. I have only had it a month. -There is a stove like burner inside the oven to the back. I’m also not so sure how that works with this yet. -My oven seems to seal well in front and the temperature seems to be consistent. I have read about how sometimes the food in front cooks at a cooler temp. I do try to rotate my food half way through cooking. -There is a silver colored crumb tray on the bottom of the oven you can pull out for cleaning. -I think it is important to note that there is not a basket accessory for the instapot oven at this time.I am looking forward to playing with the rotisserie in the future. I am currently looking for a good cookbook for this specific oven. I hear you need to be careful with those selections because some cookbooks don’t have many pictures. I find pictures important. I have tried to cover the many things I found very important to note before selecting this oven. So far I don’t find any of these to be deal breakers and have been able to work around all of this to enjoy what I believe to be a quality countertop oven. I hope you find this review helpful.

After researching for quite some time, we replaced our poorly-designed Cuisinart Convection toaster oven with the Instant Omni Pro Convection Toaster Oven. We love the fact that we got a smashing price on Prime Day and are having fun looking for accessories for the Omni Pro.We were frustrated with the burnt toast and bagels and the uneven heat and the poor performance of the Cuisinart Convection toaster oven. If the only thing that you ever prepare in this toaster oven is toast, you will have a great time crunching away on the perfect piece of toast. The tender, hot toast may very well replace some of your snacks!Reheating is a breeze. The food actually got hot and is perfect, not burned with cold and hot spots. There is quite a learning curve, but there are great YouTube videos to watch and lots of cookbooks to buy.The only criticism so far is that the Cuisinart came with a great cookbook, and the Omni Pro does not give anything to begin your cooking adventure.

The media could not be loaded. The smell everyone mentions was gone after the first trial run. An hour later I made the “grilled” cheese that was supposed to be in my pics, just to test. The smell did not reappear, and there was no odd taste. No way you can call this unit loud. The video is with the phone right at the unit. I barely heard it once I was halfway across the kitchen. The pic someone posted of the rotisserie spinner being melted, is broken, not melted. They most likely had something off center and it broke. It won’t melt at 400, the unit’s highest setting.I didn’t get a pic, but baked potatoes are amazing from this unit. Brush with canola oil, then sprinkle with your favorite seasoning. When you cut I to the potato, prepare for the ASMR as the knife crunches through the skin.

We bought this and were excited to use it and made a few nice dishes. Fast forward a few months — the air fryer now makes a messed up noise when we turn it on and spews smoke everywhere. Now it’s just a fire hazard.

This is my first time leaving a review about a product on Amazon that I can remember. I am very pleased with this purchase! I was hesitant at first to purchase the InstaPot air fryer because of the negative reviews about the smell. It probably sat in my cart for a couple weeks as I deliberated if it was worth the risk. I ended up purchasing it anyway and my family and I are in love! It just arrived today and I followed the directions for pre-cleaning and initial set up. The smell was horrible at first, but after the recommended 20 min. the smell went away and I was able to cook the chicken wings to perfection. I have no regrets. Obviously, it is my first use, but I don’t want anyone to be deterred from the negative reviews left on this forum about the smell BECAUSE if you follow the directions, THE SMELL WILL GO AWAY and THE FOOD TASTES GREAT!

I had very mixed feelings at first. Most of the stuff I tried in it came out a bit cardboardy or not crisp at all but after some trial and error and google I figured it out for the most part. I suggest buying one of those oil sprayers. You put some olive oil in and handpump air into it so you can spray oil on food, it’s an air fryer but you do need a light spray of oil on most foods to get them crispy. DO NOT USE PAM TYPE SPRAYS, those will ruin the finish of your trays. Also…some frozen foods you buy in store just don’t work well in the air fryer. I have tried Safeway brand fries and no matter what I do I can’t get them to cook right. But the ore ida fries, which have air fryer instructions on them, cooked perfectly. So now I actually am very pleased with my fryer. We make taquitos and spring rolls and fries and onion rings. Bake potatoes. Even fry tofu cubes. Etc.My main gripe with this device is the closure for the rotating basket. It comes open way too easily. It hasn’t caused any problems but it can be annoying. Oh and btw this rotating basket is awesome to make fries or tater tots. The door can come off for easy cleaning (open and lift gently) although I have splatter on it that doesn’t come off with any amount of scrubbing. I assume I will have to use some anti grease spray to clean it. Haven’t tried yet.So as I said the basket is awesome but it also has TWO trays to cook stuff. It fits a decent amount of stuff which can’t be said about some other fryers. It gives you a beep to tell you when to rotate the trays. I usually do that at the halfway point and ignore their beep. One last negative point: it is loud. Old model Microwave loud. But for me that wasn’t a problem. So yes I love my air fryer. Just accept that there is a little learning curve. And enjoy!
