Our dog loves these treats more than enything else we give her. Well maybe she prefers pizza but that is not a treat it is a special dinner. This specific size is also quite soft so much easier for you dog to chew if they do not like hard treats,Be warned, once you start giving these to your pup they will not want you to stop! When we run out I literally show her the empty bag as proof they are all gone. For longevity and freshness I would not recommend purchasing any more than a two months supply. At this point they become considerably harder.

Greenies have become a part of my 30 lbs beagles routine. She LOVES them and gets so excited when I open the pantry to get her a treat. This is the same dog that spits out milk bones and is rarely motivated by treats. I initially bought the larger-sized ones which were recommended for her weight but I decided to save some money with the smaller ones as they would last longer (60 treats vs. 36). Furthermore, these treats fit perfectly inside the Kong ball I bought her. She ends up spending 10-20 minutes trying to get the greenie out of the ball which gives her lots of fun as well as a tasty treat. The treat has become less about keeping her teeth clean although that is definitely an added bonus!

I think these were fresh when they arrived and I have no idea on taste because I don’t eat them but my dogs love them. As far as the scent goes, they stink and I hate having to open up the container to give them to my dogs at night but the scent doesn’t hang around for very long so that’s a plus and the container I store them in holds the scent inside so it doesn’t leak out into my bedroom. However, those are my feelings about these. When it comes to how my dogs think of these they absolutely love them! They can’t wait for bedtime as one will run back to her kennel 5 times before she realizes it not bedtime and the other will constantly bark at nighttime to make sure I am going to bed and open the container before he will get into his kennel to have his bedtime “treat”. They love love these so I always have to try and make sure I have them on hand. I also have to put them in their kennel while they eat them otherwise they fight and try to take the other ones stick. I will say I wish these weren’t so expensive for an everyday treat and came more to a package. For a months worth for 2 small breed dogs it takes 2 packages since there are only 30 sticks in the package. 30 sticks divided between 2 dogs only lasts 15 days. Buying the biggest box that has 4 packages of 30 only gets us by for 2 months. And spending $65+ tax every 2 months is over $400 a year just on these alone. I would, and I’m sure others as well, would love to have these drop by at least half the amount in price and provide more to a package. Seems wasteful to use so many packages. There has to be a more cost effective and environmentally safe way to supply these to the customers.

I have never met a pup that does not love these things! Since my Shiba Inu is not a fan of the toothbrush we give her one of these at night to keep tooth decay at bay. They are approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Counsel to keep your pup’s chompers healthy. They have a mild minty smell that is not offensive, and I have never tasted one, every dog we have ever owned went bananas for these things.

I have a dorky–a dachshund and yorky mix. She’s adorable. My baby. I love her as if she were my child and will cut someone to protect her. I’m probably crazy but she’s SO ADORABLE and her eyes are super soulful and she is just so wicked smart. I’ve never had a dog who was this smart. Reminds me of a Dean Koontz character, really. Anyways. As much as I love her, I’ve not been fond of her breath smelling like an unmentionable area. More like a dozen unmentionable areas. I’ve tried everything you can thing of–various treats, bones, even the stuff you add to water (she’s too smart and knows I spiked her water, and won’t drink it).So I tried these Greenies. She loves them. And after about a week of having one each day, her breath has improved 100%. Now when she yawns from the other side of the couch I don’t want to gag. I don’t mind her waking me up with a single puppy kiss now. These are awesome. I’m considering giving some to my brother, and seeing if it helps his breath too.

When ever I brought my dog Millie to the vet, the conversation quickly turned to the need to put the dog under anesthesia so the vet can clean the teeth. After Millie passed away, we got another one, Niki. A neighbor told us about how well greenies keep a dog’s teeth clean, so we put Nike on a greenie a day regimen. Niki can vouch for their great sent and taste. Now, at every Vet visit all we hear is how clean Niki’s teeth are. Yes, they surely do an amazing job of keeping the teeth clean and also serve as a much anticipated treat – Niki loves them. In a way, a Greenie a day keeps the Vet away!

My 14 year old lab/chow (RIP) who recently passed away was a Greenies ADDICT. I am not kidding, when he was 14 years old, not much else could get him this excited. His eyes would get huge, he would pace around and start panting so hard I was afraid he was going to have a heart attack. We had been giving him Greenies since he was a puppy. He had amazing teeth- when we took him to a new vet she could not believe how old he was. She said he had the teeth of a dog half his age. We never needed any professional cleanings for him. I started to get the smaller size for him so we could give more of them, since he would get so happy about it.My other 4 year old dog also loves these. We order them monthly which has become an expensive habit, but I don’t care. I attribute my other dog’s long life to at least partially to his daily Greenie habit. Also, it is fun to say “want a greenie?!?!” and she completely flips out with excitement.

Our corgi is not the most house broken when it comes to grooming. He gets fuzzy or runs away from you so sometimes brushing teeth can take longer than expected. We mentioned this to our local vet and asked for recommendations or suggestions of what to do, as Teolif our corgi, was showing signs of some build-up in his teeth. He told us to try out Greenies because the texture of it helps clean the teeth as the dog chews. Well I was skeptical and not sure if adding this treat to a treat-driven corgi would be of any use. But so far it has helped the process. Our corgi is obsessed with the treats, no surprise there. But it has also reduced the build-up to a more manageable occasional brushing-teeth need. This doesn’t replace having to brush his teeth and it never will but it has helped tremendously to not have to chase him around just for brushing his teeth so often. We give him one a day, sometimes every other day and it’s helped. Unfortunately I never took progress pictures but it works just takes time to see results. Oh and we get him the petite or tiny size because regular just seems to big for him, plus we have to keep his diet in check.

All my dogs have suffered from teeth problems as they aged. With our new rescue Cavapoochon, I vowed never again. I originally bought as a treat for my daughter’s 7 lb maltese. He is crazy about them and insists on starting his day with them. He goes & stands at the pantry door. So for our Sadie, I bought more. After a few months, there’s not a speck of black tartar anywhere – and she Never has fish breath! I like that theyre plant based as well. I bought Teenie Greenies for the Maltese, but Sadie is 14 lbs., so I bought her the Petites. However, since her rescue, she’s put on 2-3 lbs that she needed & she goes thru the little treats too quickly, so I may move her up a size. Now, I buy these for my other daughters 80 lb hound and 15 lb beagle – they line up for them once a day. No more fish breath for them, either!

What is in these things that makes my dog go BANANAS when I say the word “Greenie” !? My dogs gets a Greenie every night at 9p as a bedtime snack and at 8:55 she starts whining for them. If she falls asleep before her treat and I say “Greenie” she will wake from a dead slumber and bolt to the cabinet they’re stored in.I have a 20-pound dog and should have bought the Petite size instead of the Regular but they weren’t too big to warrant breaking in half.Inside the box, the treats are in a resealable bag that keeps them fresh. The treats are fairly soft and take my dog <10 seconds to eat them. They aim to help with teeth cleaning and I do think my dog's teeth stay fairly clean using these. I wouldn't say these are a replacement to brushing (which I've done exactly 3 times in my dog's year of life), but do help with plaque and bad breath. This price is significantly cheaper than what I've paid at big-box pet stores and is a great value!
