This stuff is miraculous. It’s unbelievable how well this stuff works!! It is extremely rare for me to be a raving fan of a product, but this stuff is amazing.I just moved into a new house with very hard water. The previous tenant apparently never concerned themselves with mitigating the hard water buildup in the dishwasher. There was literally 1/16 inch of solid mineral deposit throughout the washing machine tub and racks. After a wash cycle my dishes were not clean looking at all. Before I found this stuff I used 2 gallons or CRL. I ran 6-7 cycles using CRL and vinegar and baking soda. Then I spent about 6 hours soaking the filters and parts of the racks in buckets of CRL and scrubbing every square inch of everything with a CRL soaked rag. All of this barely did anything. I saw maybe a 10-15% improvement. I was ready to forgo the dishwasher and washing everything by hand for good. Pulling “clean” dishes out of there was just gross. This washer was incredibly bad, but, JUST 1 BOTTLE of this stuff brought it to near perfect. Next I used the sponge and everything remaining just wiped off. It was like wiping a foggy mirror. I ran another bottle for good measure. I am not exaggerating it looks completely new, I could see my reflection in the stainless steel tub. This stuff is a mericle.I looked it up, it is supposed to be safe to wash dishes right after using this product. But I ran a rinse cycle before putting dishes in anyway.I didn’t really notice much of a scent afterward. There is a little of a “clean smell“. It completely neutralized everything and it definitely didn’t smell like chalk anymore. You do HAVE to be able to run it on a hot cycle. There is no way this product will let you down. I’ve never seen a more effective product and I looked hard and tried a bunch of things on this dishwasher.

Even though we have a water softener, our dishwasher got hard water deposits inside. I tried a cleaner that came in tablets. Ran the cycle a few times with no significant change. Tried vinegar which helped a little. Then I tried this. The difference it made in my dishwasher is amazing. Almost every trace of the white hard water residue is gone. Even the areas that had hard, crusty deposits. The racks glide easily. I hadn’t even noticed a problem with the racks, but after the cleaning cycle I immediately noticed how smooth they glide. Some of my glass dishes had gotten hazy but after using this product my dishwasher cleans the dishes better and removed the haze. One tip: after I used this I noticed some remaining deposits around the door seal. Before the cleaning these deposits were like concrete but after the cleaning what remained was soft and wiped off easily. So make sure you wipe that out because I don’t know if it hardens again when it dries out.

I was first introduced to this when I was living in a complex that had a handyman on staff. My dishwasher was not even a year old and was not getting the dishes clean. It was only me so didn’t really use it that often because everything came out cloudy even with a rinse aid.Well when I had a problem the maintenance person came and told me to purchase this product. OMG what a difference. It looks like you have a brand new dishwasher. It basically cleans the dishwasher for you.I was just in Florida visiting a friend and his dishwasher was pretty bad inside. Same thing cloudy dishes and glasses. So thank you Amazon for delivering it so quickly. In my opinion it’s a must have product if you own a dishwasher!!

I will admit I had my doubts, but I was truly amazed at how well these work! We have incredibly hard water with an extremely high level of calcium. A dishwasher that was only 2-1/2 yrs old looked like it was 20 yes old on the inside. First time we used it the dishwasher looked brand new on the inside!!!! Just make sure to get the water running hot in the sink first and do not run on speed cycle. Wax on top needs time to melt so it can distribute the cleaning agent.

We started using this in Italy 🇮🇹 in 2011, and we continue to use it once in a while back state-side to make the dishwasher act and look like new again. It descales, deoderizes, and disinfects all in one easy cycle. I recommend starting with an empty dishwasher, removing the blue cap from the cleaner, putting the bottle top-down in the dishwasher, closing the machine, and running.I prefer to run it at its hottest setting, minus the heat dry.As a bonus, it disinfects deodorizes the garbage disposal as that is where the dishwasher drains.WORKS GREAT!

We have very “hard water”, and so much limescale builds up inside our ancient GE dishwasher that, every few years, the seals will start leaking. I’m sure using Dishwasher Magic regularly would prevent it, but I’m lazy, and a massive cleaning always does the trick. If you’ve got a TON of buildup, here’s what I recommend: Get 6 bottles of Dishwasher Magic — if it turns out you only need 3, you’ll use the extras eventually. Make sure “heated dry” is OFF and your rinse-aid dispenser is full and set to max/open, so the buildup will flush out instead of re-settling in the plumbing. Follow the bottle’s instructions regarding hot water, then run a scrub cycle with TWO bottles. While the dishwasher is still damp inside, run another scrub cycle with one bottle. Then, put one shiny-clean spoon in the basket, and run a third cycle with B07CTQ8THP high-quality detergent to wash out any remaining gunk. If you there are still some layers of buildup in the system, the spoon will be coated with white residue, and you’ll know you need to repeat the whole process.

Although it’s a pretty mundane thing, this is one of those rare products that does exactly what it says it will and doesn’t cost a fortune.I have a Bosch dishwasher…wonderful product in nearly every way, except it tends to have gross odors if left empty for any length of time. Apparently, this is a known issue with Bosch and it has something to do with the way their drains work. The Dishwasher Magic is exactly what our dishwasher needed…after a single treatment, the stainless steel interior is notably cleaner, and the odors we were experiencing have pretty much completely disappeared. All it takes is a monthly use to keep the dishwasher clean inside.Definitely glad we tried it, and I’d have no trouble recommending Dishwasher Magic to anyone.

This was so easy to use!!!The first three photos are BEFORE and the last two are AFTER!!! You can totally see the difference!!!I made sure that my water running in my kitchen was already hot prior to running my dishwasher and I ran the dishwasher on the hottest “sanitize” setting.I would definitely recommend and will be using regularly.

where we live the water chock full of minerals. that in combination with soap residue makes the dishwasher look like the inside of cave rather than an appliance over no time at all.i had tried everything i could think of even going so far as to use a dremel to grind off some of that build up. then i stumbled across this while shopping in town a few years ago. we tried it and it wiped away almost all of the build up on the first try.since then we have used this product religiously every 3 mos. for a nice clean, build up free dishwasher. FYI more important than appearance that build up got so thick it was preventing the soap cup for catching on the release latch. so we did this for functionality not looks.simple to use. unscrew the lid ONLY, do not remove the cap that is underneath. place in the silverware basket upside down. select the hottest, longest wash cycle on your dishwasher and air dry if possible. then just start the cycle and when done remove the emptied bottle.if there is a lot of build up do this. sprinkle some baking soda on the build up first. pour some vinegar on it to start the chemical reaction. let it sit for five minutes. that softens and dissolves some of the build up preparing for this. then use the glisten bottle. after the first cycle finishes do a second with another bottle of glisten. you should only ever need to do a double cycle the first time and only if the build up is really thick.we’ve used this product for years and recommend it to our entire family as well as friends it works so well.

So the dishwasher had a decade and a half’s worth of buildup that needed to go, OR we needed to buy a new dishwasher. The dishes were being left with disgusting white and dark (calcium, limescale, and maybe rust) particles after washing, even though the water was still hot and the mechanisms were working just fine. I gave this a shot, hoping the reviews were honest:First bottle : Little or no improvement.Second bottle : I saw that running the sink to full hotness was recommended, plus the label did say two bottles could be needed. So I ran the dishwasher again , and this time, maybe 35-40% of the stuff, max, was gone. Not good enough. Not hoping for much , I went ahead and used theThird bottle : And this time, at least 90-95% of all the stuff is cleared off the…uhm…big plastic thing in the bottom of the dishwasher. There’s still a littleteeny bit of limescale on the underside of the BPTITBOTD, but it is like night and day. There was some stuff on the heating element, but it had dried up and flaked off easily when I rubbed the heating element with my fingers.I ran the dishwasher a fourth time, to clear off product residue and the debris I rubbed off the heating element, and if it doesn’t look like new (it was in the house when we bought it in 2004, and might have been installed when it was built in 1995!) it’s close enough for my purposes. So it took all three bottles, but that’s still cheaper than buying a new dishwasher ($25 compared to $800+) , so I am pleased that this major purpose can be delayed for awhile longer, maybe a year or two, especially since we did buy and install a new and expensive water softener a week ago . Water softener this year, new dishwasher 2022 or 2023 : This product helped me avoid making TWO major appliance purchases in one month, so I’m happy.
