The batteries that Amazon shipped me in 2020 have an expiration date of 2030, so at least they are fresh. Most batteries are throwaway items. No one really pays attention to them unless they fail in the most disastrous way, i.e., leaking. I had a digital clock that I rely on for shopping (ever heard of PS5 restock)? The clock was nearly destroyed by a Duracell battery. Energizer batteries do not seem to leak. Nowadays, remote controls can cost $40 to replace, with Sony tv remotes being one of the most expensive to purchase new. I hate universal remotes. I have game controllers, metal scanners, remote inspection devices, and an RFID scanner that I depend on in the home. These can cost from $60 to several hundred dollars. Do not risk your costly and irreplaceable devices to a junk battery. Hopefully the probability of these Energizer batteries leaking is under 1%. We shall see, but check all your batteries at least six times a year, folks.

OK, so the other batteries I got didn’t have remote control. I got these and once again, Amazon wants to know how well the remote control works. I’m not that dense, but I have no idea what these things are suppose to do when used with remote control. Do they get up and dance or do they light up or whistle Dixie? I have not way to review the remote control aspect since neither the previes batteries or these seem to do anything at all. They just sit there in the package and give no response when I push the bu;tton on the smart phone. maybe I got a batch made on Friday.

Energizer is a well known brand known for long lasting batteries. These batteries promise to last for 2 years and claims to be sealed from leakage. However, you may want to consider this…Pros: Saves you money, may protect battery operated devices with its “PowerSeal,” relatively long battery lifeCons: Product packaging does not state where to open itemBottomline: Saves money (less than $0.50 USD/battery), relatively long battery life, claims to have a “POWERSEAL” to prevent leakage. I guess we’ll have to see after 2 years of usage lol BUT there are no instructions on how to open it. Why is this important? We tend to open and use a couple of batteries at a time out of the 24 batteries in the pack. The package is usually used as a form of storage for the remaining batteries. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to open it correctly reading borderline microscopic labeling (literally, some words on the back label are microscopic; see photos). If you open it INcorrectly, storing and opening this 24-pack for our future use becomes more difficult us.

I have tried a half-dozen of these small flashlights in th last 2-3 years, as I use them in pretty much all of my shop projects, and these are by FAR the best one I’ve picked up. First the light is blindingly bright, don’t look at it. Second, the on/off button has a good feel and the right level of pressure to turn it on/off easily. I had some which must have had a huge spring in them and it was nearly impossible to turn on. Then they WORK!! So many of these get flaky and go on/off randomly that they are useless. These lights have proven reliable and are just a great tool!! I’ve now ordered the 4 packs of these 4 different times for gifts for my family and friends. I cold not be happier with this find.

They last a lot longer and produce more power than the cheap ones I found. Especially in lights. Usually even replace the batteries in lights that they come with because the lower quality causes the led to dim quickly. The only bad thing is it does make the two dollar flashlight cost a little more.

I used to buy Duracell batteries at a big box store but they were always leaking and ruining whatever device they were in. I did some research on batteries and Energizer had a no-leak guarantee. For me, they’ve lived up to that promise. I replaced all the batteries in our home with Energizer and haven’t had one leaking battery. They can eventually lose power, but they last a long time.

This is only a partial review. Part 1. I got exactly what I ordered as shown on the Amazon web site picture. I had read several reviews about Amazon shipping out batteries that were not what was pictured nor advertised as leak proof according to the shown packaging. I was lucky. The next review will be after I test EACH battery with a volt meter for the listed voltage (another problem with Amazon batteries).I will keep you folks posted.

I’m a repeating purchaser of these batteries. These are not the best in class but have never failed on me. I use these mainly to flash light. I also buy Energizer AA often for Canon SpeedLite flash on 6D and they take decent amount of pictures (about 500 to 700) before they drain out. I have used rechargeable batteries as well but these are better than rechargeable. They may vary in draining depending on usages but what can be harsh than using them in a flash light on regular basis! I can recommend these to anyone for versatile usage purpose including AA for camera flash.

Energizer batteries don’t leak acid they use a different technology than Duracell 😃👍I hate Duracell all they do is leak that nasty white dangerous acid all the time even if they’re not expired! It’s a good way to ruin your stuff you pay a lot of money for

I ordered these batteries in the middle of 12-2020, and the batteries I received had an expiration date of 12-2030 printed on them, so they had the maximum shelf life remaining.I had purchased a package of 4 of these same batteries from Target to get by until these arrived. That 4 pack cost me $4.49 + tax. On a per battery basis, this package of 24 cost less than half of that. Great deal in my book.
