We only use one brand of batteries, Energizer. Eveready has been making batteries forever! We’ve used a lot of brands over the years and the one thing I hate is a leaking battery. A few things have been ruined. Yes, we should have removed the batteries. It’s hard to remember everything we’ve put batteries in. But years ago Eveready began making “No Leak” batteries so I decided to give them a long term trial and they have preformed very well. I have had a couple leak but the leakage was minimal. I see Eveready does not make that claim anymore. I have never had a Ultimate Lithium battery leak. I principally use the lithium’s now. They last a very long time, especially in our remotes and cameras. I have a Bluetooth operated device that turns on our driveway floodlights remotely and I only put Ultimate Lithium’s in it. They work great and last much longer than the Energizer Max batteries. I do keep the old used up lithium’s in a bag to properly dispose of at Lowe’s when I need to. Yes, the Lithium’s cost more but I think we get our money’s worth in longer life and no leaking damage. So, I recommend this product very much. K

I purchased these for keeping my “Blink” cameras going. “Blink” proports 2 years life when using non-rechargeable lithium ion batteries. I have found that claim a bit optimistic, but, that says more about the hardware than the batteries. Your lifespan will vary dependent on what you are using them for and how often that equipment is activated. I have found that in a TV remote they last a very long time. These batteries do seem to outlast the normal alkaline batteries by a fair margin. Energizer is a reputable company and these are sold and distributed directly by Amazon so you don’t have to be concerned with counterfeits.I purchased the 24 pack. The price is better than most of my local sources and they came straight to my door. Are they worth the extra cost over the standard Alkaline batteries? I think it depends on your application. If you need a power source that does not fall off during its lifespan, these are your ticket. They work for me for my purposes.

best battery ever! this battery can run my logitech gaming month 4 times the battery life as other batteries. i change the battery every year!all my amazon blink cam are using these batteries and may not be 2 years but if you change batteries every 6 mo, you will be fine. it can power wireless cam over 6 mo!!!!!! Canon 5dM3 GPS with this battery can run over 3 days non-stop!!!!!!!!! Best battery ever!!!!!!!!! may cost a little bit more but by the time it cheaper than junk batteries. and its zero leaking!!!!!!!!! well this is a lithiun battery please recycle for mother earth! Thank you

I save these batteries for my game cameras out in remote mountain areas where I get to check them once or twice a year. I used to use Duracells, but they leaked in my equipment. There’s nothing more irritating than finding your camera full of battery acid after a few months of use. So I started using rechargeables. Those didn’t tolerate the cold as well as these do. It has gotten down to -40 Fahrenheit and these batteries keep their charge. On one camera, they have been in use over a year and still read 86% charged, after having powered numerous videos and photos. No equipment has been damaged as a result of using these batteries. These batteries are expensive, but you get what you pay for!

This is just a quick, initial impression review (with over a thousand reviews, what’s one more). I’m trying out these lithium Energizer AA batteries primarily to see how long they will last in our Kwikset Halo Touch Wi-Fi Fingerprint Smart Lock. Our large household has been burning through alkaline batteries in this lock with rapidity. We love the lock, but if these lithium batteries reduce the frequency of replacement it will be that much better. Alkaline batteries have needed to be replaced monthly, so I’ll update this review to compare the longevity with these lithium batteries. So, first impressions. The packaging is as expected; six boxes of four. Some have complained of knock-offs, but these look legitimate to me (purchased from & shipped by Amazon). The manufacture date is from earlier this year and the claim is that they last 20 years on the shelf. The prominent “20” on the packaging is the shelf life, not the product count (don’t be confused as I initially was, thinking I didn’t receive the 24 count ordered, ha!). They look well made as one would expect from a name brand – I was surprised by how light they feel compared to the alkaline variety. The batteries read at 1.8 V DC new out of the box. Lithium batteries are supposed to maintain near constant voltage throughout their life. It will be interesting to see if my Halo lock can detect the remaining charge – I suspect it will read 100% until the batteries just die with no warning from the Kwikset app. I’m fine with that tradeoff if they last longer.Updates to follow.

Update to previous bad review…i still standby it but have more detailed info. I kept most of the batteries so I went back and checked them with a voltmeter and what I found was 1 out of every 5 was bad…reading .4 or .5. The rest were still good at 1.7. So, I went and checked my cams after just replacing the batteries with the last of this order the previous day and both cams were now dead. Checked each cameras battery holders (holds 6 batteries) and it read 9.7…so it should have been good…but the cameras wouldn’t work. So I checked each individual new battery and found 1 in each holder that read .5…I replaced it with one that read 1.7 and the cameras worked perfectly. So I was able to go back and salvage some of the batteries and after checking all of them…1 out of every 5 is either dead or has a short in it coming right out of the package. We should not have to check every battery we buy…that is a quality control issue…and because these come repackaged…I believe this is intentional. So who ever Amazon is getting these from (since Amazon is the listed supplier) is ripping us off and they should stop buying from them. Buy them in the original packaging not the box with batteries plastic wrapped to themselves in 4 per wrapping. Someone is adding dead batteries to the packages.Agree with multiple other reviews…DO NOT buy these either knock offs labeled as energizer lithium or intentionally mislabeled junk batteries. I usually get a year of game cam pics (well over 60,000) before the true energizer lithium die. With these…can’t even get 2 weeks (barely 2000 pics). Once true lithium lose power they lose it like falling off a cliff. They completely stop working. When I checked this cam it turned on and the battery level was fluttering between 10-30 per cent…I have never seen that accept in alkaline batteries. So, I just installed the last 6 “brand new” ones today and the cam showed 100 per cent for about 30 secs and then it started fluttering at 60-80 per cent. Amazon needs to stop selling these.

Use these for photographic equipment, like flash triggers, that cannot use the 1.2v rechargables or backup equipment that may not be used for a long while. These hold their charge and don’t leak acid like the alkalines, ruining several $100’s in equipment. The cost is not much more than the cheap brands and more than worth the extra $.Some have complained they have received batteries that were dead or died quickly. Have had this happen. In all my cases when I looked at the etched ‘mfg date’ and the ‘use by date’, they were expired or nearly expired. Some vendors buy product on the cheap ready to expire and resell for a discount. Check the mfg date. If made in the last year or 2, fine. These are 20 year shelf life batteries. Buy if Amazon in the loop or from a high count, high rating 3rd party since they will turning over inventory. Good batteries from the bunny.

i was not anticipating reviewing a battery purchase but with the number of bad reviews here, i wanted to post my results.first and foremost, the batteries arrived in a retail energizer package. within this package were 6x smaller packages of 4x batteries. looks legit to me.i tested the voltages for every battery and every battery had an open circuit voltage of 1.79 voltslooking at the date stamp for when the batteries were made, half were made 03/18 and half were made 04/18. so these batteries were between 6 and 7 months old when i received them.i cannot yet speak for run time. i am using these batteries in low draw items (Honeywell external temperature/humidity gauge, and my security system smoke/CO detectors because they mandate this specific battery model.) these items are expected to last between 2 and 3 years on a fresh battery, and the original batteries (which came with the items when i bought them) lasted a little over 2 years. as such perhaps 2 years from now i can speak about run-time.

This is the civilian version of the US military L91 battery. It is the best disposable battery you can buy for general use, and the AA-size is the new military standard. For more information, read the article, “Radical New Thinking on Batteries,” found on 36Ready.The box of 20 batteries that I ordered, contained individual cardboard boxes, each containing four batteries. The batteries I received were fresh stock, with an expiration date that indicates they were manufactured three months prior to my order.

Unlike alkaline, zinc-carbon or most rechargeable batteries, these litiums primary batteries will not leak, eve if they are fully exhausted and left inside devices. They operate well in temperature extremes, especially in very cold weather and applications. They will last longer than any other type of primary cell in just about every application. If there’s one caveat, it’s that these cells hold a very consistent voltage throught their useable life. Once exhausted the power levels fall dramatically in a very short time. Unlike other chemistries that have the voltage dropping consistently as they batteries are used up, these can die rather suddenly. You can often get little or no warning before lithium batteries conk out. Many devices that have battery level meters or warnings that alert you to low batteries and allow you to replace them with some time to spare, there’s a good chance that you will encounter something that is just suddenly dead. Shelf life is extraordinary though, making lithium batteries the optimum choice for devices and products that sit for long periods before being needed, often in emergencies. Things like flashlights, radios, test equipment and tools, and similar. They are also excellent choices for items that draw little power but get used occasionally or continuously, like remote controls, clocks, alarm components, back up batteries and the like.Prices for these batteries are finally beginning to drop a bit, likely because the Energizer patent exclusivity is going to end soon, and soon other brands will fill the space and likely at much lower prices. Shop for deals, usually large quantities like these get you the best price per cell.
