I LOVE these! I wanted a NON scented disinfectant/cleaner and this is it! It smells like nothing which I love! No crazy chemical scent! I use it all the time and it does well! I also love the dish soap from this brand! It doesn’t dry my hands out like crazy!!

I am really impressed with ECOS One-Step Disinfectant Spray Cleaner. First of all, it is made in the United States!! That is so important to me. I choose American-made products every time they are available. This cleaner/disinfectant has two sets of directions. If you are merely cleaning, you spray and wipe off, no rinsing necessary. If you want to disinfect, you spray and leave it on for ten minutes, then wipe it off. The ten minutes gives it time to actually disinfect, allowing that hydrogen peroxide to go to work. This cleaner is unscented. No harsh cleaner smell here. What you do get is a clean area. The first day I received it, my dog decided to mark his territory in the plant room. I guess he thought he was outside!! Anyway, I grabbed the ECOS and sprayed the area and it was so clean instantly. There was no residue or harsh smell, just a clean smell. We like to clean after his “errors” with a disinfectant and I am sure this will be our new go-to cleaner. As far as the packaging, my two bottles arrived in perfect condition. There was no spillage at all. No leaks, either. Just clean, dry bottles!! I couldn’t ask for more from a cleaner. I very highly recommend this ECOS Disinfectant Spray.

In the bottle, this disinfectant cleaner smells faintly like a swimming pool although it doesn’t have chlorine bleach. The outside of the bottle was sticky so I squirted some of the cleaner in my hand & for a couple of seconds, it almost smelled like vinegar & then it dissipated quickly & left no scent. It didn’t hurt my hand at all & it dried without stickiness or any residue. So I don’t know what was spilled on the outside of my bottle but was glad to know that it wasn’t the cleaner & that it doesn’t feel harsh or sticky or oily. This is a one-step disinfectant cleaner. For cleaning & sterilizing, spray on the surface until thoroughly wet, then wipe clean. No rinsing is necessary. On things like kitchen grease, spray, then wait for 15-20 seconds before wiping clean. Repeat if necessary. For heavily soiled or greasy areas, pre-clean first. To sterilize, spray until thoroughly wet & let stand for 10 minutes before wiping clean. There were no harsh fumes or chemicals, the ingredients are derived from sustainable resources & the active ingredient is 2.4% hydrogen peroxide & the inert ingredients are 97.60%. Cutting grease & grime, this cleaner has no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), prevents mold & mildew growth & is free of animal-derived ingredients.Ecos can be used in the kitchen, bathroom, nurseries & on other tough household messes. I used it also on the interior of the car—steering wheel, shifter, handles, etc. There is a precautionary statement that it has hazards to humans & domestic animals. It can cause moderate eye irritation so avoid getting it in the eye area or on clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap & water after handling. This reminds me that even though I didn’t smell much of anything & it feels like water, it still is a strong cleaner disinfectant & the user needs to exercise caution. Keep it away from children & pets. I never experienced irritation or itching from spraying it directly on my hands but I won’t do that again. No sense asking for trouble.Generally, this does a pretty thorough job.

Product seemed to be packed with care yet the boxes arrived soaking wet and leaked all over my floors. How much wasted?!

Many of the cleaners I’ve been using for the past year are anti-viral disinfectants. They tend to be rather strong and some are heavily scented, simply the nature of some of them. The fragrance-free Ecos is both an anti-viral and anti-bacterial with hydrogen peroxide. In order to disinfect a surface, the instructions must be followed as it’s not what I’d call an instant cleaner. At this point in time, I’m using both anti-viral and anti-bacterial. There was a shortage of hydrogen peroxide for a while, a product I do use to clean certain items in my home. There are full directions on the back of each bottle. For example, if I want to simply clean and deodorize, I can spray and wipe down. If I want to disinfect, I’ll need to spray thoroughly, let it set for ten minutes and then wipe. This will kill a rhinovirus, which is hard to do. This morning I was cleaning my counters, which I need to do often. I have a counter surfing dog, who checks things out when he thinks I’m not looking. I also need to move things at least once a week and clean behind them.I was quite pleased with how well this cleaned. It didn’t have any off odors as the Ecos is, as mentioned, fragrance-free. It’s not a product that will clean and shine as it’s not meant for that. It did pick up a lot of dirt that settled everywhere during the week. I’ll replicate the statement below as to what this product does. I’d highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaner or disinfectant. The container is made of PET 2 (High Density Polyethylene, HDPE) and is recyclable.ACTIVE INGREDIENT:Hydrogen Peroxide: 2.40%INERT INGREDIENTS:97.60%This product “Kills 99.9% of Trichophyton mentagrophytes on hard, non-porous surfaces [and] Kills 99.9% of Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enterics, Staphylococcus aureus, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) [and] Kills 99.9% of Influenza A, H1N1 Virus, Rhinovirus.”Made in the USA.
