My pup is an adopted dog from texas and so since moving to the North East, hes always chilly. He is a 45lb blue heeler mix. He LOVES this coat. We usually buy him a large in dog clothes, but the large was too big around his waist so we returned it for the medium which is perfect. It works perfect for playing in the snow and stayed on without slipping off. It was water resistant and just warm enough to keep the heat in for him to enjoy some outside time.

The media could not be loaded. I love this jacket, and so does my dog! I’m not kidding. When it’s chilly out he literally walks around with it in his mouth till I put it on him. It keeps him comfortable and dry all day and it looks great. Charlie is a very beefy 70 lb pit mix with a huge chest. I originally got him a medium because several reviews with pit bulls his weight got that size. But if your dog is very bullyish you are probably going to need a large

Just as expected. The quality of a carhartt for the fury family members. I got my dogs both a medium and they fit good. Easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this especially for your short haired animals in the cold weather.

We have a 10 old Yellow Lab Puppy that loves to run in our woods and going on hikes. We went thru two other coats that were destroyed by snags and rough-housing, before we hit on the Carhartt. We now have to replace it, but only because she has outgrown it. The old one looks worn, but has no damage, no holes and is till as warm as the first day we got it. Rest assured, we will have another as cold weather comes again in the Fall, and it will the same one only larger.

I got my medium sized, 28lb dog a size Medium because I wanted it to cover the length of her body (~23in) and the medium fit great! Have gotten tons of compliments on walks, she looks so on trend haha. Quilted interior is nice for warmth, but it’s not fleece so if you need something super warm this isn’t it. It’s warm enough without being heavy, which I like. The one downside is yes, it does not have a hole in back for a harness loop, BUT, the medium on her has the collar far enough back that it actually isn’t a problem as the loop is only covered by 1/2 an inch or so, and the leash is still able to attach without it being affected. She’s not a puller so this worked out fine for me. Please forgive her resting b**ch face, she HATES photos.

Our winters may not have a lot of snow but we do have the bitter cold nights. My mini Aussie is an outside dog with a thick coat. I’ve got a heating pad under a thick lush blanket that he lays on during the daytime; however, he still seemed cold. I wanted to do something more to keep him warm. As a very satisfied Carhartt clothes customer I was thrilled to find this dog jacket. It took a little training to get my dog to wear it but now he’s toasty warm and loves it. Carhartt quality for a dog …… totally genius and well worth the money.

Was skeptical whether these would fit my fluffy sheltie, I was shocked that it fit her so well; I’ve always have trouble finding one that fits her size and her fluffiness around her neck and chest area. These are perfect. I got a medium size for my 40 lb sheltie and a Large for my 60lb lab, both fit perfectly. Can’t wait to take them outdoors with these!

Can’t speak for my country dog, Scout, about warmth but it fit well and is easy to put on (if my country dog wasn’t so indignant about wearing it). He weights about 35lbs, so I bought the one sized 30-60lbs (or thereabouts). I have a dog on that weights 70lbs and this coat was just a bit too small, while on Scout it was almost too big – but the easy Velcro connectors allow it to be adjusted to fit tightly around his neck and chest. Very sturdy (if you own a Carhart coat it is the same material and quality). It should last a long time if Scout doesn’t find a way to get it off and lose it :). Happy with this purchase.

These are great coats for Michigan winters. My beagles don’t have thick fur and need a little extra warmth in the winter. On days where it’s less than 25°, I also layer a fleece sweater on them underneath and they run and play comfortably with full mobility. Not to mention, EVERYONE stops to gush about how adorable the jackets are.

Amazing quality as expected from this brand. I originally ordered a small for my 25lb mini-Aussie. Fit perfect around his neck but barely wrapped around his chest and was too short on the back. Ordered the Medium and it is long enough but way to big around the neck and the chest fits but we have a lot of extra Velcro strap. We will keep the medium and try to have it altered to fit.Just letting everyone know that there is a big size difference between the offered sizes.
