My husband renovated a 1993 Chevy conversion van into a camper, which I love – but I didn’t love the musty smell of an old van or the leftover “party” scent from the previous owner. Last summer I tried a jar of industrial-strength gel odor absorber, but it didn’t make a dent in that distinctive van smell. I could tell when my husband had been working on it or even just driving in it because that scent would cling to him. I bought these bags because there were 4, so I figured I could space them throughout the van. Before we left for our 2-week summer trip, I hung them on the side window blinds of the van using the included hooks (very sturdy!). By the next day the smell was already reduced, and it was completely gone by the end of the first week. I even threw a couple bags into his shoes when the smell of damp shoes was too much! When we got home my husband joked that he sort of missed the van smell, but I am so relieved it’s gone. No more being embarrassed to show the van to other people and having to apologize for the smell. Plus, even after I got rid of the bags, I’m keeping the hooks to use in the van because they are very sturdy and convenient. It’s like 2 products in 1.

We installed shelving in our office closet. After 6 months we could still smell the stain. I ordered 4-200G basic concepts charcoal bags on May 30, 2020 and place in the closet. After one month the smell was gone. I ordered 3-500G on July 10, 2020 delivered yesterday. I now have them placed throughout our home. This product appears to be effected.

My boys room is a normal preteen smelly room. I placed one in their closet and it almost immediately helped the room smell better and it was easy to “clean” them. Just a little sunlight then back to their closet to clean their smelly room.

So pleased with these large bags. I smoke in my garage when they wind is up and it gets chilly. Put one in the garage and I don’t smell the smoke anymore. YEAH! I never smoke in the house, but I put the other three around here and there. Think I’m going to buy more so there is one in every room. Supposed to help with allergies also. THANK YOU!

I have had sinus problems ever since I moved into an apartment. I read the reviews and thought I would try this. I scattered the bags around my apartment. My allergy symptoms totally disappeared! These come highly recommend!

Amazing! So, I bought these after it was recommended to get rid of dead animal smell. We 1st noticed an older that smelled like death. We couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from. One day I passed by an opening that leads to into the crawlspace and noticed a strong odor. Turns out a cat crawled in to die there. The smell was really bad. Until we figured out how to get the dead cat out I needed something to get rid of the smell. Hence the online research. Turns out charcoal absorbs the ordor and they did. Placed one on the floor and out of sight in the living room, dining room, and kitchen and within a couple of hours the smell was gone. The next day we got rid of the dead cat but I didn’t move the charcoal bags. They work wonders and best part you can reactivate them just by putting putting them in the sun and the price is great. I’m thinking of buying a couple more for my car and gym bag.

I heard about these from a friend so I thought I’d try them. We have an older home that is small. We don’t have a hood vent in our kitchen, so any time I cook meat on the stove top, our house always smells like food for a few days. The first day I received these, I tried them after cooking. They worked great! Within 24 hours, our house didn’t smell like food!! We also have a couple small closets that had a little bit of an “old house smell” to them. I put one pouch in each of the closets and I don’t really notice the smell anymore. I’m excited for the idea that they can be recharged in the sun. It’s been cloudy and rainy here so I haven’t gotten to try it yet, but I look forward to it. For us, this was definitely a great purchase!!

Used this for chemical smell in car from spilled paint thinner in back floor board. Put one on front seat. Closed all windows and after 24 hours chemical odor gone. I previously left all windows down for a week… could not drive this car the smell was so strong. I highly recommend this product.
