We always need batteries in my house, my kids always have some toy, controller or something that needs batteries. These batteries come in a small box so it is easy to store these. Usually we get batteries from costco and it comes in this huge plastic container laying all the batteries out for you to see and it takes up a lot of room. But this one comes in a small little box and easy to store and pull out when you need them. These are Energizer and they work well, just pop them any of your devices and your are ready to go!

These are good batteries. Output exceeds others I’ve tested. Can’t yet tell how long they last in storage but have lasted 3 years. And, most importantly, I’ve not had one leak yet. I’ll explain.I use a lot of batteries. I buy them by the 100 or so, in all categories. I used to use a major manufacturer, with a colored top, that we all recognize, but a few years ago their batteries (AA, AAA, C and even a few 9v and D) started leaking. They leaked well before the expiration date and ruined almost every battery powered device I have. But, this review is about some good batteries so I won’t detract but needless to say I will never buy another one of those batteries and have been spreading the word to stay away from them.I’ve now gone through at least 100 Energizers (AA, AAA, 9v) without a single leak and overall great performance. Highly suggest you use these and stay away from that colored top.

I have always liked and used Energizer batteries. They are long-lasting overall plus do not rot or rust when stored properly for long periods of time. This shipment came to me in one simple and reusable box that is compact enough to store just about anywhere. Wasn’t big at all or heavy, much less, and I was able to store additional AAA batteries (specifically a dozen) within an extra space within the deep-bodied tuckaway box itself. The extra Energizers were leftovers from a prior Amazon order (24-Count) from late-2018, by the way! Will be purchasing this combo AA/AAA pack again when things in this regard eventually run low!

They came closely packed together but no plastic packages, like you get at the store, to hassle with. I have used 3 AAA and 2 AAs for about 4 months. All still work. None of the other batteries have corroded as I have had plastic packaged batteries supposed to be good for 5 years. This happened within 6 months so when I needed them on a Sunday, I had to wait to buy new ones. Of course, I could not find my receipt. These Amazon are in a paper box—no plastic. We shall see if all20’batteries are good when I need them which may be over 2-3 years. So far, I think the 20’pack is great and it will buy another 20 box or so when I get close to running out.

The outside box is sturdy cardboard that is great for storing the batteries in before use. Inside the two smaller boxes of batteries fit snugly to mostly prevent them from rattling around, (the AAAs do slide back and forth because of the size difference). Both the double and triple As are in smaller 4 pack boxes. Everything has easy to open minimalized packaging. I have them in both high drain and low drain items right now. They are supposed to have a ten-year shelf life so I bought an extra set that I am putting with the emergency kit. I haven’t tested them all by any means but so far they have performed exactly as expected of the Energizer brand.

About every year or so we use up all our 24 pk batteries (AA & AAA) and need to get more. This offer was very well priced for a name brand that I already know has decent battery life and I didn’t need to run out to any store to purchase these. One nice thing about the packaging was that rather than batteries being loose in the boxes, each battery type is packaged into smaller packs of four. It’s just less messy in a drawer or where ever you keep them. If I need more batteries in another year or so I will most likely pickup another one of these.

I am an avid outdoors type, but carry a lot of (primary battery) battery powered tech, that must last. From temps in the low teens to freezing, and up to 100+F temps, Energizers just work and last. Even the second closest competitor, is in my opinion not work buying. Never had a leak with Energizers. 2nd best I have had over a $1000 in lost tech due to leaks. Which has sold me on Energizers.

Close your eyes and imagine. You’ve just got home from the store, where you decided to buy a powerball ticket. Almost a billion dollars? That’s life changing money. You get home just in time to turn on the tv to see the numbers drawn… and you realize the the remote is out of batteries. You scour the house for some extra batteries. You look in drawers, you even look for other electronics you can borrow the batteries from. No luck. You’ve looked so long that you realize the drawing has come and gone.. and you think there’s no way you won anyway. So you toss the ticket in the trash along with the 47 grocery sacks. Except this time.. you had the winning ticket. You go to bed, and wake up at 6am the next morning just in time to catch the bus to the 9-5 job you’ll work until your finally old enough to retire. Never to know you literally had the winning ticket. If only you had bought the batteries…
